I've been through the Nature of the Beast quest and unlocked the Arcane Warrior specialization class with that phylactery thing in the ruins. It still says that the class isn't unlocked though. Is there some way to fix this? I want to make Morrigan an Arcane Warrior and I just got the spec point.

You got that popup thingy saying "Arcane Warrior Unlocked" or whatever, right?

Yes. At least I'm pretty sure I did. It's been a while since I did that quest, though I told the spirit in the phylactery that I wanted to know what it could tell me, and it told me...bits and pieces of how to be an arcane archer, enough for someone to figure it out. I probably got the popup.

quest wise? Isn't unlocking it unlocking it? It said I unlocked it. A friend of mine is also playing a rogue and he learned from that phylactery and made Morrigan an arcane warrior. I should be able to, as well.

Do other specs and achievements (specs are just a hidden achievement basically) work?

They appear to. I don't know about achievements as I'm rather new to the whole achievement thing and only started getting those in Fallout 3. Honestly I don't really care about those. But other specs worked. I unlocked duelist with that woman in Denerim and Zeveran taught me how to be an assassin. I unlocked Champion by finishing the Redcliffe thing, but I can't tell if that one works until Alistair or Sten level again.

Is there a console command I can use to unlock arcane warrior? Is there anything I can do at all? This is really annoying. I don't want to have to wait for my next play through to try unlocking it again.

No, there are no console commands or cheats (that we know of) to unlock a specialization.
If you have a save game of somewhere before that unlock, you could try to do that part again to get the unlock (and just to make sure you do get the popup)...

That mod can unlock all specs if you want. Haven't used it, looks pretty cool tho.

If I went back and unlocked it in an old save, would it then be unlocked for my current save? I'd really hate to have to do everything I've done since then over again. I'll try it anyway though and see.Cheiron the Centaur wrote...

Ok. I tried that and it worked. It unlocked the spec even for my current save.
Thanks. I'm glad that's sorted out.
