 Greetings all. 

I've got a 60GB fat ps3, and a disk copy of ME3. Before patch 1.02 I had a few technical issues, mostly framerate drops and about 5 freezes (requiring hard reset). Now, after downloading the patch, and on my second playthrough, I am stuck on the Citadel before Priority: Palaven. I can't take five steps without the game freezing. Disabled internet connection and that ALMOST worked, game froze again when I got right in front of the door to the Normandy. I'd rather not delete the patch, because you can't do so without also deleting the DLC, which took a wonderful 3 hours to download and install the first time.

Anyone else experience these types of issues?

i had this issue on mass effect 2 with my old 60gb ps3, i dont know if this is true but i think it has somthing to do with the ps3, because when i had mass effect 2 it would work on my dads slim but not my 60gb fat ps3. my fat ps3 was also 4 years old i got it when it first came out. might need slim.

I had similar issues with the digital copy of ME2, but eventually I picked up the the hard copy because it got pretty cheap, and it never froze. Seeing as most other games (except those made by Bethesda) run perfectly, I don't think this is a hardware problem. The game simply wasn't released in a playable, debugged state.

Didn't have any problems with 1.01. Installed 1.02 and haven't had any problems yet. Loading on the Normandy is slightly faster too which is nice. 40 gig Fat PS3 here.

If I'm having problems after installing the patch when I didn't before, then obviously it is not fine.

they still have not released the Patch 1.02 details so i dont even no what they did lol.

I haven't experienced any of these issues.

I find that weird. Maybe your ps3 is causing this issue.
