FUN WITH LABELS.....really, i understand where this is from....and to have to ask for gay people kinda shows how things are...i hope one day u wont have to post that. but to take offense of that to me seems kinda petty....u get mad if someone says "thats gay" but then u ask for gays...i understand the context but to me its the way world is....in some way it seems like how some can say ****/****/"N-WORD", and then condemn someone else for it...we will never be a human race wit so many divides...that said, i'd be glad to be ur friend and teamate when my time allows... stay cool friend....

And before everybody instantaneously assumes that I'm a homophobe, no I'm not.

This isn't about matchmaking. It's about not wanting to hear "Did you see that ****?! He totally killed me!" (this was said directed at the computers..imagine what he'd saying knowing I'm gay). Or "Wow, you sound like a ****.."
Since you're not gay, you haven't dealt with homophobia. This is about wanting to play a game for the game itself. Not wondering if the person is going to cuss you out because you're gay. Please, before you speak, realize what you're saying and educate yourself on the subject matter. Read the posts. Don't just assume that because we're gay and we're wanting to play with other gay people that it's for matchmaking.

We don't (I don't anyway) call other gays ****s. There's a difference. I just don't want to be around a hostile and negative environment. I don't think anybody actually would. So, if I have a choice to play with people who are
going to be kind, yes, I will. Why wouldn't I take offense? When you walk through school and have someone say "pfft, effing ******" and "f*cking ****got"  - let me know how you feel. It's a horrible feeling. It causes emotional and mental harm, even though they're just words. (this post sounds like I'm just going off - but I'm actually calm lol..darn internet..you can never get the emotional context for a situation).

I know how frustrating it can be, lightsnow13, I really do... but let's try and keep this thread on-topic and not take the bait of those who would steer us towards a possible lock down...  getting into an argument (or even a well-intentioned debate about a controversial issue) on the internet almost NEVER ends well...
