I'm not gay, married with a daughter in fact, and I'm not bothered by gay teammates one way or the other. Have a lot of gay friends in fact, even family. I just prefer that players work as a team, and preferably have mics. So add me if you want.

Hah. born2beagator and Sentientbrute, you kinda overdid it now. Apparently you're just trolling for the sake of trolling. Move along peeps, nothing to see here!

We'd be thrilled if you stuck to your own promise you made more than a few pages ago, and that is to not post anymore in this topic. You honestly don't need to be in here if you take such offense.
Hey xyzmkrysvr just wanted to compliment you on a job well done! Keeping this thread going, updating the list, engaging in difficult discussions with, granted, some of the most thick-headed people on the entire BSN and clarifying our purpose, and all in a very reasonable and polite manner. Good stuff!
The list is getting mighty impressive. I wonder if we should do something with the Rainbow Brigade? It's been kinda dead as of late. :)

Thanks Daodan! ^_^
I’m afraid I *did* have to report born2beagator… I’m all for allowing people to express their opinions SO LONG AS they do it in a respectful manner. Saying “homosexuality is disgusting” is considered “hate speech” and this forum does not look kindly on that. (Sentientbrute, I suggest you leave as well. We don’t need you coming in here and throwing around the word “abominations”. You know what *I* find abominable? Intolerance, ignorance and bigotry!)

The fact that you can not reproduce if you have a homosexual partner is proof in itself that it is unnatural

I would describe the mechanisms of the gay love scene to highlight how natural it really is, but this is the wrong place. *tactical cloaks* :bandit:

To be fair, the thing that set me off was the use of "open-minded" with gays.
To me this insinutates that anyone who is not gay is closed-minded.

and really, you had to expect a thread like this to attract people who are completely against homosexuality.

I apologize if my posts offended someone.  As you can see, I feel very, very strongly about this subject

Oh, more than in your right, there. Some people just can't be argued with, how unfortunate it may be.
IMO the best thing about this topic is how some very sceptical people came in, and through good reasoning and communication, completely turned around and went on to support the topic. Well done on the patient ones!

No, that just simply means you cannot reproduce. There is no more to it. Why the **** would that even matter to you? And how exactly are heterosexuals "benefitting humanity" with their legions of bastard children? You can keep your ignorant feelings all you want, but don't pretend this is about 'humanity' or the progression of it. It's about you caring a bit too much about the lives of others, or more likely, not dealing with some confusion of your own. Something being natural does not require a ****ing baby being the outcome of it. Jump off a bridge.

Nope, I just find homosexuality an affront to everything I believe.

Its even worse when homosexual couples adopt and force their views on impressionable kids.

The fact that you can not reproduce if you have a homosexual partner is proof in itself that it is unnatural

Of course.... cause it's not like heterosexual couples have EVER given birth to gay children.  It's just those evil gays adopting and corrupting the youth......

People believe in all sorts of things, but this must be something new.

OP, just for you information, people who call their teammates "f*****g f****ts" aren't necessarily homophobes. They might just as well be perfectly gay-friendly (or even gay) ****s. So I believe the topic title should be changed to "Are there any polite and courteous  players out there?"

Btw, thanks for "gaymers". I find this neologism a little offensive, but totally hilarious.

Sure, that's why all impotent men and infertile women should disavow their marriages so that their fertile spouses can go reproduce in peace.  Clearly, God's plan.  No reason to be together if itsn't to have kids, that's for sure.

And I'm sure you won't be forcing your views on your kids, right?

Whatever.  Gay friendly and proud of it.  Not sure why it turns into a factor into a game like this, but I suppose bigotry finds the oddest of hiding spots.
