For the record, on X-Box, I hear guys throw out the F word many times and it's not the word that rhymes with duck. Worse, the other night, one guy got angry with the host and called him the N word. That's great!  Good for you, having opinions and convictions and stuff.
However, no one asked.  Your opinion wasn't requested, this thread is not here for you or anyone else to discuss your views on homosexuality.

Hello OP and others!

Feel free to add me.  I play on the 360 and my gamertage is HustleRoseRei27. I also only play on Bronze right now as I don't feel comfortable enough on Silver so that's the only thing.  I don't use hate speech and I do have a mic (it's a bit crappy).  I do swear, but usually mute it. I am bi. 

EDIT: I like playing Adept and Sentinel.  I wll also try out Engineer soon.

Was only bronze,but I enjoy all difficulties for different reasons.Plus bronze is a great stress free mode to  break the ice with new friends,even if they did neglect to tell this old codger that a banshee got behind him and is about to impale him.

I think if someone used the word "heterophobe" you would be offended. I also think if someone made a thread for straight gamers you'd be offended.

Anyways, why should anyone feel the need to announce whether they like to have sex with men or women in this forum? I assume if you are playing the game with someone you will be talking about tactics while the game is going on. I've never heard anyone talk about sex during the game. In fact I DON'T want to hear about anyone's sexual escapades when playing a game.

Crusades for any " special political rights" for special interest groups has no place in the multiplayer thread in my opinion.

I can imagine some gay men out there just want to marry a man and stay a virgin (hence the church would double dissaprove)
I'm pretty sure i've known married het couples who never consumated their marriage, ever.

And use of a "any straight players" is not the same!
It's not like everyone goes around saying "marauders shields is *so* straight!"

Homophobic abuse is frequent.
Heterophobic abuse is extremely rare.

Or, it's used completely accurately to describe those who partake in antipathy or contempt of homosexuals, such as the people who continually discriminate against them by shouting anti-gay slurs in-game.  Or perhaps to people who belittle immutable traits of homosexuals by scare-quoting them as a "lifestyle" choice.

Probably amused by the stupidity of the person who used that word.  Do you see even the slightest hint of antipathy of heterosexuals in this thread?  Probably not, considering the OP openly welcomes straight allies like me.

Firstly, that's not analogous to this thread.  This thread does not exclude heterosexual people.  Secondly, hetero male gamers are the vast majority of gamers, especially where online MP is concerned.  Every thread is DE FACTO a straight gamers thread.  Let me guess, you're one of those brainiacs who wonders why there isn't a "White history Month" too, aren't you?
