I don't like hugging. I'm a tall guy and I usually (Always, too shy to even get to know other gay guys. Am I the only one who finds other gay people intimidating?) hug girls who are much smaller and I find it incredibly awkward.

But then I played a match with some random people who started throwing around the N word and telling racially-charged jokes about lynching, and I realized that what I REALLY wanted was to form groups of mature, respectful, open-minded individuals to play with.

I mean, that is the gist of it right?  If anything I think your original post would encourage trolls and jerks rather then a simple concise post like above.

That is not up for debate. I could go through these forums for 5 hours and find dozens of posts that I could improve upon, but I don't.

Either post your gamertag/PSN/Origins ID, share a story or experience, offer support, or remove yourself from this thread, please.

I think the way it works is that before republican thread can start they are forced into a transvaginal ultrasound. But honestly you said it, social minority. Gay people have to listen to various slurs daily and wanting to play a game online without being abused is not that difficult to understand.

Also Bioware forums always close threads if they divolve into political or religious discussion, by definition a Republican thread would be political.

As much as I disagree with Republican views I actually do think such a group should exist, but due to political aspect it couldn't be on BSN, just as an Athiest or Jewish thread wouldn't.

On a side note stop saying gays this and gays that, the collective term for a group of gays is a cuddle. A cuddle of gays

I'm straight, but I don't care a single bit about the sexual orientation of who I'm playing with. I just care if they are TEAM players and not "bossy" screaming orders over the mic. I hate this.

To be fair, that's not what you seemed to be looking for.  Perhaps it was, but the below quotes make it seem more like you were looking for a Political group to discuss Political issues with.  There's a distinction.

So you were looking for people of a certain political persuasion to discuss current events, which I think to most people indicates a political discussion.  To characterize this as Gays v. Republicans is simply untrue.  It's social v. political.  A Democratic thread written in the same way as yours above would, I assume, also be taken down.  

Looking for people who won't shout bigoted remarks is not, however, a political thread.  Gay Republicans exist, and I assume that like Gay Democrats, they also don't like being called names based on their sexual persuasion.

Now, I'm perfectly fine with Republicans joining republicans to play online, but Bioware has made the choice to keep explicit politics out of the forum.  I don't think it takes a mastery of nuance, though, to find a distinction between the two groups you compare.

T = Transgender
Q = Questioning
I = Intersex
A = Asexual

(I know LGBT is fairly common, but didn't want to leave anyone out!) But my question is... what is the difference between Intersex and Transgender?  an dis Questioning the same as Curious?
