My best writing friend, pen-pal, and artist/doctor I'm proud to count among the people I know, is openly gay.

I'm not gay myself, but he makes no qualms about it, and his fiction characters tend to lean that way, while mine chase women. The interactions are quite funny.

It's not uncommon to find open-minded people, but perhaps moderates/independents aren't as friendly as they'll often admit. I'm happy to say I'm gay friendly and haven't been disappointed yet, even among two others who aren't my pen-pal.

Nice! I find that you can create cool shades of all the colors by using the black as the highlight color, but it only works well for specific species...

But the skin tones... aka window tints are horrific! they don't do anything!

Calling something gay is not gay bashing. Using Gay in that context is saying that it sucks. Unless someone is using it in a context that is gay bashing. I for one dont see how your sexual orientation is anyones buisiness in life or online.

The reason calling something bad "gay" exists is because it carries a derogative connotation when used like that (and that connotation is directly related to it's homosexual asociation rather then it's older meanings). It's the same as the less often used derogative of calling something bad "jewish" or "******". The problem is it's (more) socially acceptable to use Gay in that manner today, the sameway using other now taboo words like ******, ****** (or it's coloquialism) or Gypsie (etc) was ~50 years ago..

Actually I changed it. Now I use the blue that is 4 colors above grey. It's above lavender, on the left side is indigo, and on the right is a periwinkle.

When I hear a player say "that's so gay" or "what a ****," I am well aware that they are not saying that something is homosexual or a bundle of sticks. I'm also well aware that they are not attacking me personally or the GLBT community.

But I am aware that they know or should know that a portion of our population considers those terms to be offensive epithets. And I am also aware that they know or should know the context in which those phrases originated: true gay bashing. So yeah, I completely agree that my sexual orientation is no one's business. But that's not what this is about. You don't need to know my sexual orientation or that I am an ally with gay friends or family members in order to offend me. 

And you have every right to toss out those epithets in whichever context you choose. But I also have a right to try and minimize my exposure to it. Ok? Good, thanks for stopping by!

I think, that they should just add more customizable options! They could have made the MP customizations into something special but... its not that good >.>

^Like I've said before, Soul Calibur V had some amaaaaaaazing customization. If they did something like that where you could choose the armor and colors and mix and match the armor, that would be AMAAAAAAAAAZINGER!!! I would like my Justicar to look graceful and regal like Samara, not manly and mean... Plus I want those metal head pieces.

I heard Soul Calibur V had some great customization options, and I am torn between getting it or not, if I can get back into gaming... I just really really want to play as Lizard Man xD I heard that there was a Maid's outfit thing that you can wear .... Imagen that... on a Salarian... or Turian... or ... ... ... Krogan! XD

It's unfortunate that the term "gay" has been used in such a context, but society has adopted the phrase pretty well (at least where I am from) in that it isn't intentionally used to insult the LGBT Community. I have gay friends who use the word and they do not seem to have an issue with it. I have even asked them when i sometimes say it whether or not it offends them, and they don't because it isn't intentional.

Words like the 3 letter F word on the otherhand are intentionally used to insult LGBT and phrases like that should be condemned.

That's because language evolves. If you object to that in principle, then you shouldn't be using "gay" for "male homosexual" either.

I'm still waiting for a Krogan to unlock, but was watching a repeat of QI a tv show in UK and historically boys wore pink and girls blue. It only changed within last century or so.

And I posted and ran earlier on this thread without leaving xbox gamer tag I am kind of slow sometimes. GT - alanmck on xbox and I'm a Scottish, Bi, insomniac with no idea how he plays multiplayer, I may be one of those players or not...

Oh and with the complaints earlier accusing this thread of being ME gaydate, can I just say great idea. Bears become Krogan, str8 allies - Turrians, chubs - Elcor,  lipstick lesbians - Femshep, Twinks - Drell and lots more I was really tired and dosed on caffeine. And a closet case would be Batarian with mouthy queens as Vorcha.

I have way to much time to think, I need a new hobby.
