If there can be a "looking for gay-friendly players" and all sorts of other 'looking for specific types of people' threads, then yours isn't any different. So if yours gets closed, then they should close the others....or else that would be discrimination now wouldn't it.

Usually it's the young & ignorant people (pretty much the same thing lol) who attack attack attack if you don't agree with them on here and any other forum. There's a lot of that in these forums. Or they're just trolls searching for attention because they didn't get any from their parents as a youth. Or, they're grossly insecure and need to flex their 'internet muscles' to feel better about themselves. Don't even bother wasting your time trying to figure it out.

Believe it or not I have nothing against Christian gamer group. However it has been explained numerous times by more articulate people than me why it is different. I saw your thread and was so tempted to do on it what you seem to think is appropriate forum discourse in this thread. 
I understand you are probably a nice guy who just has issues with 'the gay', but why post here it does nothing positive. Start a Christian thread in off-topic or maybe ask Chris if there is way for your thread to be worded that would prevent lock. Do something constructive
And I also have slight frustration with gay pride parades, mainly due to my mum trying to get a drum...

I'm a straight guy, but I definitely fall into your "ally" category. Like you, I don't tolerate derogatory slurs and I can't stand it when people use the kind of language you described.

I play almost exclusively Gold matches on PC, and I prefer good players who use microphones over people without them (or at least be able to type in English). I can play any class, but I prefer GI. you can certainly count me as an ally. I typically play silver, though it can be really tough to find a good team in that arena....too many people stepping up from bronze thinking they can run everywhere on their own and kill everything.

I'm married, and combined, both my wife and myself must have over 20 gay friends, both in real-life and on Xbox Live.
The ONLY type of person I hate is the type who completely blast loud music while they play, and they don't mute their mic. Then, when you ask the to turn their sh*t down, they either blow up on you and unleash a flurry of profanities, or they flat-out don't hear you because of the volume of the music. 

I'm willing to play with (^almost) anyone, so feel free to add me on Xbox Live if you'd like.

Look who it is.  I don't think you're helping your cause by posting in here in an effort to get the GLBT+ community to justify/rationalize this thread. Read your post in the context of the one it's replying to. You don't want the Christian thread to be trolled/pulled off-topic, yet you fervently declare your prerogative to do so here. Isn't there something about a golden rule we might want to get back to?

And if you've been banned because of posts in this thread, why oh why would you return here?
