I played a game the other day where "****got" was being thrown around - some people obviously don't mind it but I don't like to hear that kind of thing. Thanked them for the game and left the lobby afterwards.

I'm straight, but I support Gay people to be whomever they want to be and have the freedoms they deserve. Also I really don't like it when people throw out those derogatory terms. I know that a lot of people don't mean in an offensive way to attack Gay people, but it still gets on my nerves. Xbox GT:

xyzmkrysvr, I commend you wholeheartedly for keeping your cool (99.9% of the time ) through this whole 'ordeal'. How you managed is beyond me. Some of the horrible comments, and mainly the same question over and over and over again (why post this thread...blah blah...) had me feeling like my brain was melting.

I'm glad you got what you (and many others) were looking for - a group of people who actually know how to respect eachother and have a fantastic time while doing so.

A big thanks to the OP for helping me carry a friend and his friend through Reapers gold...despite everything! First game everyone got disconnected in wave 6, second game my Xbox froze in wave 5 and then we all wiped in wave 10 due to the horrible north ramp Dagger hack objective, third time was the charm!

While most men would have quit early on, OP has stamina!  (just doing my part to add to the innuendo!)

Was this thread really necessary? I know how Xbox Live is probably more homophobic than the Catholic Church, but is it really so bad that gay players require a thread of "safe" people to play with to avoid getting ridiculed? Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with gay people, but is it really so bad that muting isn't an option anymore? Are there people so determined to make gays feel bad about their sexuality that they are willing to go to lengths further than expressing hate with in-game voice? If anything, I think this list is capable of doing more harm than good, as the situation seems like there are a group of players who are willing to go to great lengths to discriminate gay people and you just gave them a list of targets.

Whatever, I guess I can be put under the "gay-friendly" category. I play Gold only, probably soon to be Platinum also/only. I don't always use my mic, but I will if I need to. If you want to add me, I'll need a message explaining why you are sending it (just something like "From BSN, Gay-Friendly Thread" will suffice).

Well imo it is some what seperation. Instead of "I'm making group to play with nice, mature tolerant people" it's more like "group for homosexuals and ******-buddies". Still, I want to be in a damn group of people who are competent, almost any group can do
