You might have to wait until tomorrow for others to play with the game and find a workaround, unless some person involved in development can help you. :/

I don't think anybody is paid to support the game for the customer BEFORE the game is released.

If your on vista install as admin
That's not his problem..he's already installed it..he's just trying to run it..and I don't think the admin thing is the problem here....although worth a try.

I'd say, try running the .exe file directly from the directory and if that doesn't work..try restarting your computer and trying that again. Also, yes, don't forget to run as admin if you are running Vista.

In part, that's thanks to Family Guy though. Glad that show is around to give us young'uns some small amount of insight into the past.

You're likely thinking of the Windows Desktop Manager (WDM). I have Vista Business and every game I install I rt-click the exe and turn that off. Doing so essentially turns off the Aero interface theme to free up resources. When the program quits the Aero theme comes back on.S0ndor wrote...
I am completely unable to run Mass Effect (on Vista) unless I turn off somekind of feature in the windows security center. Don't know if you could be having the same problem with this game.
