She cant be frozen, resists every spell of mine. My 2 beefed up tanks hit her and she lose 2-4 points only when she hits allister lose 30-40 points. what level is she? what is her stamina, she uses her abilities every 3 seconds or so, no cooldwon, nothing?

I found Cardini to be harder to beat than Branka. She's just a warrior after all.

i thought paragon is someone that did a great service for the dwarf community, not a superman. i cant even drop her health into half, and this is normal difficulty.

Do you have a Mage healer? For the tougher boss battles, you will also want to use consumables (health and mana potions). Use mana potions when your healer's spells are on cooldown, use health potions if your tanks drop low and won't survive another hit before a heal lands. This is pretty standard strategy for any of the challenging fights in the game.

Also kill golems first because I believe the fight doesn't end until everyone is dead.

Obviously not, if you can't get through this fight at normal difficulty.

i know how to play thanks. if you have any specific suggestions for this fight let me know, otherwise save your words- what's with the hostility on these forums. They gave you suggestions and you don't like um. Kill Golems first, check. Get a healer, check. Upgrade armor/weapons, check. Cone of cold worked for me, check. Go to easy level, I'm guessing that's a check too. Micro manage your toons, wait you know how to play. Then I guess you got the one game out of thousands that just won't let you kill Branka. Not to sound mean (and I'm sure I'll get a lot of backlash for this one. But if you know how to play, Branka should be dead.

She may not be frozen, but you sure can slap a forcefield on her. You could also grab her attention and have one of your tanks kite her while you kill all the golems. Once she's alone she shouldn't be a problem. If you get her all alone and still can't kill her, I don't know. I used Shale, Oghren, PC rogue, and morrigan to blast her pretty handily. Maybe Shale's elemental damage made the difference. I can't say she was that awful.

Shattershot, Telecinetic weapons, Sunder armor and you will hit much harder.

No one mentioned you need to have someone (not a dwarf!) run around and use the lyrium veins in this fight, so she won't walk over, use them, and split.
One of the toughest fights in the game IMO.

Branka and Ser Cathrien (first encounter)... powerful girls! One hit kill b***ches! Cat got lots of 330 dmg hits on my 330HP warrior in many reloads (Hard) till I lured her away from her pack.
Branka wouldn't do that in One hit... just in Two since dual deals less dmg! grrrrr! Still doable and I'm looking forward to meet them again in this NM run I'm on atm.

Wow now I know why I didn't see Branka split into more of herself. I figured it was just a regular tank and spank fight since I had Wynne use all the veins to regen mana.

I found Branka the toughest fight in the whole game on my first run - the only one I turned down the difficulty on. The Archdemon was a breeze by comparison! I think part of the difficulty is that you tend to run into her when you're low on resources and unable to swap party members. I found that she resisted a lot of my spells, too.
The second time I fought her was easier, because I had two mages with me. The alternated casting Forcefield on her until we'd dealt with everything else on the field.

On my playthrough as a dual wield warrior on nightmare my entire party died except for the main character and I ended up soloing her by damaging her, then kiting and healing.

Weird, I didn't have any trouble with the fight at all. Ser Cauthrien, otoh, was a nightmare (didn't realize you were supposed to lose, kept reloading before the transition). The slaver mage I also found tough.
I just tanked Branka, had Wynne heal the tank, had my other 2 characters run around and kill the enemy golems, then concentrate on her. Just a standard tank and spank. When she splits, no big deal, it only takes one hit to kill the fake Brankas.
Most satisfying person in the entire game to kill though, even more evil than Loghain or the slaver mage.

Branka was tough, but I beat her on the 2nd try (hard difficulty) by using Forcefield on her right away, and generally avoiding her while I took down the golems. Killing the golems before she wakes up is the hard part--don't skimp on the talents and spells to get it done quick. Then, once she was the only one left, I switched everybody to ranged and ran around like a madman while they whittled her down from each corner.
I found it was helpful to use pause judiciously to make sure she never got close enough to take a swing, while at the same time running a 2nd character around to use up all the lyrium before she could.
Also, my main character seemed to do okay damage to her with a bow, but I noticed Alastair couldn't do much at all. However, and maybe you might want to take advantage of this, Morrigan did steady DPS on account of her mage staff never misses and always does consistent damage. If I were to reconsider my party, I would have done Morrigan, Wynn, and Leliana for an all-ranged powerhouse.
Don't bother using crowd control spells on Branka aside from Forcefield--none of them worked for me and were basically just a waste of mana. Single-target nukes worked okay as long as I used Vulnerability Hex beforehand. But, really, it was ranged autoattack that won the day, and patience.
I had a similar experience with Jarvia--somehow I must have fought her before I was supposed to, because she could kill any of my characters within half a second of getting into melee range, so it was a kitefest as well (and figuring out places to stand where her arrows couldn't hit me but mine could hit her, because she did so much insane damage with the dex hotfix).

Dagger rogues are very good against heavily armored foes (like golems or Branka). They have very high armor penetration + excellent single target damage.
