the answer is: ARMOR PENETRATION.



everything in that encounter is super high armor. all the golems and Branka herself all have 30+ armor and won't be dented by your melee attacks unless you have high armor penetration.



Mage staves almost completely ignore armor so thats an effective way to do it. any magic spell really so an offensive mage helps alot against her.



weapon enchants from mages are excellent here as well. Telekinetic Weapons in particular will do a great job. fire/frost work as well but not quite as well.



for two handed warriors a Maul has very high armor penetration and will hit her pretty hard. 1 handed can use maces or daggers. a backstab rogue with high cunning and daggers has a naturally high armor penetration and should do well.



and of course it goes without saying that normal tactics apply, so focus fire the golems down first while your tank distracts Branka. then get the party to put the beatdown on her. make sure you have a Taunt up for when she splits or else the Branka clones might start tearing up your squishies.



other than that the fight is tank and spank.

Oghren is what kills me in this fight, goddamn drunken deadweight, cant use lyrium, has crappy armor penetration. shattering blows is ok against the golems though
