As the title says i can not stand Morrigan of all the characters in the game Morrigan is the only one i would like to send packing as soon as possible. Now before all the folks in the " I  Morrigan" fan club get thier panties in a twist i would like to say that this intense dislike for Morrigan is an honest one. Morrigan is written and acted so well that i come by this hate easily, and that this dislike is a testament to the quality of the writing and the actress. I have played the game now 4 times to its final conclusion, and have had several different outcomes, play throughs 2,3,4 were done totally ignoring Morrigan, no gifts no Flemeth, no skill point assignments, nothing, totally ignoring Morrigan from the moment i get past Lotharin. So i am now on roll number 5 and i said to myself well lets give Morrigan a try, so i based my build, characters, and quest order totally around having Morrigan in my party, and i just can not do it, i can not finish this character.

Great job Bioware, Ms. Black, and writers for the Morrigan character, she is so good, such a quality c#nt that either you love her or would run her through at the first opportunity. She is the type of character that you just want to punch her in the face just to derive satisfaction from watching her bleed. I am not being sarcastic here it is a great job probably to good in fact.

I didn't like her. In fact, I did not agree to do the ritual just to ****** her off but she was a constant party member in my team and I disliked the fact that she had to leave before the final battle.

For what it's worth she grew on me... I don't adore her to little purple witchy bits (you may need to be a man to fully get that, I don't know) but she's very witty despite whether or not her jokes go against your character. And she becomes fairly endearing if she grows close to the PC, too. I'd invite her to parties. Wouldn't leave her alone with my boyfriend, tho.

My first toon tried to romance her and through the whole time he came off as a wimpy, arse kiss'in warrior, giving presents and being nice while the whole time she ****ed about everything and mocked my decisions. So I made an evil character and brought her along to say stuff like, "shut up, this is my decision you ****..." Anyway, that made me feel better.

hmm i like her but if you don't then you are not obliged to take morrigan along ... unless you need a mage that badly because the player characters are limited in number in game.

I was feeling her, and we got along good until we slept together twice and I brought up the L-option. When she started fronting like I wasn't the greatest pimp to EVER walk into her life and she acts like she meets dudes like me everyday is when I started to give her the Cone of Cold Shoulder. It hurts when you say that I ain't the one.



After that I started sleeping with every other girl I could, doing the dirt right in her face. I'm like "say something b*#%@! I don't give a #%^*!" Then I made the deal with Flemeth, put the Robes of Possession on her, and put her ring in the bank. To top it off i told her to scram when she offered her proposition. And to make me feel justified after all this she still loved me! Evil LOL!



I would pay good money for a DLC option during the proposition part for a line to say "B#%^* is you crazy?!"

If you persevere with her (esp. give her the mirror gift) she does soften up a little bit. I kind of like her independence of spirit. She's not really evil as such, just coldly pragmatic - really a force of nature, like her mother, like the Wilds.

Well i have to say that i have yet again played Morrigan this morning after work and she is still a pain in the butt, but now that i know i can just tell her to shut it! when ever she thinks i give a damn about what she is thinking it seems to work better. I still have to dump her every now and then just because i have hadmy Morrigan fill which i have worked up to about 30 to 45 minutes of game play now. I guess it is like getting over an alergy, you have to take small doses of the irritant until you work up a tolerance lolz.

I liked her stories better than any others. Really expressive and dramatic. Which, with the fact that I'm also a big Claudia Black fan, really made her memorable for me.



Her influence effects are quite annoying, but worth ignoring.

I'm playing a Dwarf Female lol .. Oh man you should all try at least the Origin .. it's funny like Hell LOL.My character don't judge Morrigan .. But don't care much about her..



Personnaly i think Dwarf Female to be extremely SEXY in dragon age..My dwarf female's a real beauty

Hate wow I have seen people that dislike her but not hate.  But I think she is the best character in the game, but not better then Sandal.  I just love the personality they gave her.  Love the witty, saracasm.

Morrigan's opinions are seemingly contradictory. Sometimes she's all "Release this poor Qunari!" then she's all "Kill the mages! Kill them all!". She basically bases her decisions based on how much respect she has for the subject, which makes it very difficult to agree with her all the time.

Freaking Morrigan out with the possibilities of concepts beyond her familiarity is priceless.



There is a point where she asks sarcastically if what the PC wanted from the relationship was children and cookie baking (something of the sort) ask her what she wants and the reaction had me laughing as her cold witch heart is challenged. Something about the voice and the the face.
