Also hope we have the alternate outcomes when Harbinger fires at us, that are mentioned in the leaked script.


One thing that really doesn't sit well with me though, is this link saying we'd have to wait until April or May. It'd be one thing if Bioware would tell us this is the case, but if we have to wait until April to even get a response, then I think this game will end up being run into the ground, price and review wise, and Bioware will lose a lot of face.

It'd be like Shepard building an armada out in space, only to come home to find Earth completely annihilated.

Another thing though, it's sad to see when a "true" ending is put on DLC instead of on the disc. And for those not using discs, it's also not integrated directly into the download versions either.

The days of that being a problem are rapidly passing by though, but I still like my games being a complete package, whether that's on a disc or as a single download.

I guess it's EA/Bioware's way of saying FU to the used games. But then again, there's youtube.

no its not true the multiplayer dlc leak has been out for a few days so this guy has just stolen the info from others and has announced the truth dlc to gain extra attention for his article. After all the idea of truth dlc has been floating around these fourms for a few days, I can't see bioware using the name which a fan has created.

what sucks most for me is knowing there is no aftermath dlc like they did in ME2, soon as you finish the game you start before the final battle again, so to me thats the reason i can't see any dlc ending because if they did it would mean they would have to cut the originals entirely.

If this were true I'd be so happy. I know people would be angry it wasn't on the disk but come on it's free and a pretty good reason for it.

lets see for starters

asking for mac walters to be fired and not just as lead writer

saying the developers are lazy or hacks

calling everone who enjoyed the game a indoctrinated drone and even better demanding they give you an explination wile you people dont with your crazy idiotic theories

A fraction of the community has done this, so you can't just generalize that the entire movement is doing it.

whats your idea of a fraction? because its more like  95% of the community had done nothing but complain non stop wile the other 5% actually enjoyed what they paid for


if this game fails im blaiming that 95% because they feel they are entitled to w/e and if they dont get it they try to be these big wall street movment nutjobs on a internet forum

since when has a game ever been a legal binding contract that states the devs answer to you?because  the attitudes around here omg whawhawha im a consumer and i was promised this wawahwah lets sue or call the trade commission

95% aren't satisfied with the ending. Note, that doesn't mean 95% of us going around and harrassing developers. There is a difference in insulting someone and building criticisms based on the content and work they've put out.

When you create something and throw it out for the public, you will always have to deal with the criticisms put fourth by your peers. And if Bioware considers themself an artist, and Mass Effect a work of art, then our input is very important to achieving their vision.


It's actually very immature when faced with criticism to say "Well it's my/their work! I/they can do with it as I/they please!" Put simply, the first lession we learn in life is to learn from our mistakes, and this is something that I feel ressonates (Or used to) within art and literature. 

I honestly don't know where this mentality of "Well your opinion is moot because you didn't create anything" came from. I don't care who you are, if you messed up, you need to be pointed out about it. And if Bioware needs to change their game's ending to rectify it, then so be it. It will be for the good of the franchise as a whole.

That's what I think this movement is about. At least partially.
