Quick intro: popular theory is that the current ending is an indoctrinated dream sequence. If this is true, then the real ending will be given to us via a DLC allegedly called "The Truth". http://i.imgur.com/xjXdX.png

If so, who will be the player character? I mean, Shepard got a thanix cannon to the face. No way he/she is going to be combat ready for the rest of the battle for Earth. Shepard's a cybernetically improved boss, but he/she isn't THAT much of a boss.

My bet is that the DLC will focus much more on Shepard's friends than on Shepard proper. Shepard will probably be consious enough to talk, but I think the player will control a squadmate for missions.

Thoughts?

TBH, I'd be pretty pissed they sold me a game without a real end, when they promised me one. Regardless of how bad, nonsensical, and plothole ridden the current ends are, at least they're ends. But it would definitely be Shep, or Joker.

First, let me just say that I am EXTREMELY skeptical. I'm not even letting myself hope yet.

But if it were to be true, I wouldn't accept anything other than Shepard as the PC.

There is no DLC that changes the ending unless Bioware announces it.

I wish we could be a bit more down to earth on this forum and not just jump on every theory as if it was a confirmed truth.

Maybe then people outside of BSN would not see us as a bunch of raving lunatics.
