Hello! (apologies for caps)
I just activated my N7 edition mass effect 3 on Origin, went in after downloading the DLC and this error message pops up:
"Unable to Authorise the Listed DLC
Please log into the Alliance Networkwith the account
used to purchase the DLC
From Ashes"

Now I know I'm doing something wrong, I have registered the game on my account and downloaded the DLC.
What am I doing wrong?
Please hep!

When you start Mass Effect 3, make sure you're connected to the EA servers. If you get a message that it couldn't connect, try again by clicking on the connect button.

Sadly, the game wants to authorize the DLC every time you start the game. This is quite annoying, because you now require internet connection to play Single Player, effectively locking the player out of saved games with DLC installed if the player wants to play the game offline. And you can hardly connect to the EA servers at all (most of the time you'll be getting a "Could not connect" error, unless you're lucky).

Thanks, I can connect to the servers ( multiplayer and doesn't display error).
I don't know what else I can do other than try to restart all the time.

Well, I've got the same problem and ME3 is saying I'm connected to the EA servers. I can't seem to connect to Origin, however, and I suspect that's where the problem lies.

This is incredibly annoying. Why am I being punished because Origin can't get their s**t together?

Hmmm... Did you purchase / activate the DLC on a different account? If you did that, you're effectively locked out of the content until you play with the account that you bought / activated the DLC on. In fact, you can only play the DLC on that account.

I got the N7 edition from BT games (South Africa). Everything checked out and it said that I had already owned the DLC, but it still doesn't want to authorise. As previously stated, I can play online and AM connected on Origin, so I can't see the problem, possibly due to my limited skills with computer-orientated stuff.

Sorry, calling BS on the "have to be online to play SP". Alls it takes is ONE time. Start game connected to server, dlc is authorized, play about 1 min, save, disconnect...your DLC stuff is there.
My connecttion is slower than USPS, so no online play for me. But i can still play from ashes and have my N7 armor and weapons when i first get to the Normandy WITHOUT being connected to the net.
People really need to stop throwing half-truths out there

@Brp650
Perhaps I worded it wrong.

When I start the game, there's a huge chance I do not have any connection with EA's servers. This effectively locks me out of my saves. Only when there's a connection, I can play my saves.
If I lose connection while playing, I don't get locked out.

...Yeah, poor wording. But it gets me worked up.

@Brp650 The truth is that people are having issues playing offline. Just because it isn't an issue for you, doesn't mean it isn't happening. I'm glad you can play single player mode offline, too bad not everyone else can.

Gonna call BS on your assumption.

I activated my DLC on release day, played the game, did the first part of the "From ashes" mission, only to have the game tell me days later "Sorry, cant authorize this DLC content, please log in to your EA account."

I have rebooted, relogged, checked origin, and restarted the game numerous times, but the From Ashes DLC is no longer available in the game for me. Origin still shows it as "Purchased" when i view available DLC, and its downloaded. Ive even run the repair on it.

Same as Decapit8, installed and works, but it says I need to connect to server. As for the N7 weapons, you can use them online or offline ( I have used both).
Is this an EA serverside issue?

My problem is that the Ashes DLC crashes just after obtaining the prothean signal in the Horizon mission. Any Help out there?

Try it with Origin in offline mode. If the game crashes after the 1st vision on Eden Prime, try the other beacon first.

weirdly enough i did a few tests, and what i found was quite interesting

I just turned off the wireless switch and unplugged the cable, along with disabling Hamachi, and it worked like a charm offline, but with hamachi enabled otherwise, it'll say it can't verify, good luck with my findings, and i think this is pretty messed up that we have to do that just to play truly offline with the from ashes DLC
