Unbelievable quote from a new Gamespot article dismissing our concerns over the ending.

Hot off the presses. This article comes to us from Gamespot's finest:

"Some people have argued that in Mass Effect 3, BioWare has delivered something different to what it promised. This is irrelevant. In its role as both an art object and a consumer product, Mass Effect 3 remains the property of its maker. As a final product, it is the expression of those who created it, and its sole objective is to be consumed--not recreated--by its audience."

There you have it fans, so take your broken promises, your Red, Green, and Blue ending and be happy with it. And don't you dare bring up any of the massive plot holes.

Reckon you can take a SS and link it? Don't wanna add to page count, but don't want to take this on your word (no offense!)

Meh, Gamespot is an even bigger joke than IGN. While IGN is always suspected of being bought by game companies, Gamespot has pretty much been confirmed to be controlled by EA.

A link would be greatly appreciated, just so we can throw it at the devs :P.

If the sole objective of the product is consumption...do you think they'll mind if I vomit?

Cause seriously, that ending tasted like ****.

Reminds me of the Kotaku article, when they said "don't ever start asking for story-telling by focus group." F*** you, Kotaku, that's exactly what Mass Effect IS.

Just another reason why I hate sites like gamespot and IGN, all they do is kiss up to publishers. Honestly when Forbes calls you out on your BS then you know you've done something wrong.

That doens't surprise me. Gamespot is practically extension of their advertisers PR departments.

On a side note, tells a lot how damn desparete some people are to be gaming "journalists" or is it that no other media would hire them. There is no business like show business I tell ya.

Bioware even stated they are in for the money, not the art. The whole art talk is BS. They don't make art, they make video games, for the fans to enjoy. So the fans buy it if they like it and Bioware gets what they want. Money. I am sick of hearing about entitlement and about how ME belongs to Bioware. Technically it does, but without people paying them to make it they couldn't have. What they have they have because of us. And what they make in the future they also make because of us. If we are entitled then we have all rights to be. It is our money. They want it, they need to make us happy. Simple as that.

As much as I want to like that video how they deal with Vega just makes me think they are slightly homophobic.

I mean, I don't even know where to start with that statement... Does she even realize what she's saying?

That entire piece can be boiled down to one sentence; "SHUDDUP, IT'S ART!!1!"

She utterly fails to understand that, while ME3 can be interpreted as "art", it is first and foremost designed as a product. One that failed to deliver what it's creators promised it. Simply saying "that's irrelevant" doesn't make it so.

Also, LOL @ calling 30,000 people "a handful"

Is anyone surprised? The last person who gave an honest opinion from Gamespot got fired (Jeff Gerstmann).
They are the *itches of game publishers and they know it
