They don't need to provide you with anything actually. If I'm not mistaken, it's you guys who don't believe am I right? So why don't you post a link to prove them wrong? or you afraid you can't find such a link?

He made the statement. The burden of proof is on him. You can claim anything if the only basis for beilieveing in it is no ones proved it doesn't exist, this is faulty logic.

You guys will argue about anything, won't you? You just proved that. You would rather spend time arguing with someone than playing video games or..you know.. having a life?

Ah, so instead of answering the question you go to the age old "go get a life" route. How charming of you.

Look, there's a difference between a discussion/debate and an argument. By insulting people you just turned it into an argument on your part, so that's on you.

You said the Dragon age 2 DLC sold really well, that other asked you for a source, and instead of giving it, you respond with this. You have no proof, so you respond with personal attacks.

And you're the ones making the claim that the DLC didn't sell. So the burden of proof would fall on you.

No, logically that's not how it works. In the world of science and logic and even the legal world, the one making the claim must prove it.

"Unicorns exist. This is a fact."

"Prove it."

"No, prove that they don't exist."

That's NOT how it works.

Hahahaha true that

It's spring break, my homework is done, I dont have work, and it's 7 am.
This is still more fun then ME3 because the end of it is me falling asleep after half a bottle of captain, so it's a win win for me.

I love how people get on here saying that BioWare has the right to do as they wish, but they fail to realize that we have a right to complain.

Complain until you're blue in the face. What you don't have the right to do is demand BioWare change anything about their game.

So in your view the customer had no rights at all?

If you bought a car that the maker advertised as being fuel efficient and sporty but really was a gas guzzler and handled like a brick you'd be fine with that.? After all its not your car its the auto makers. If changing a few things mechanically did turn it into the car that was advertised to you, you wouldn't want it done by the manufacturer?

The problem is Bioware crowed about how the game would bring closure and have many more endings then it had and that your choices would ultimately matter. They downright lied or at the least where misleading in their advertising.

I'm the same? I don't have multiple websites saying how dumb I'm acting, now is there? Your actions are making gamers as a whole look bad. If more than one person across more than one media notices that? Then that's pretty bad. I'm here trying to get you to understand how bad you're making all gamers look. You may think you're justified, but you're making it so that nobody takes us seriously.

I would understand the 'Art' argument if this series had been the brainchild of one paticular writer who had a vision for the entire series. However this is not the case with Mass Effect at all. The writers were almost completely different for ME3 from ME 1 with Karpyshyn being completley retired from Bioware.

In a situation like this I don't believe the 'Art' excuse holds. How can we say that this is the way it should be because Bioware have said so. This have been a completly different ending if Karpyshyn had remained the lead writer. Thus I feel that the vision of the series shouldn't be left to some sort of non-human entity that is 'Bioware'. In cases like this I believe the fans should have just as much input as they have engaged with the story an equal amount as individual writers and in some cases more.

not really a strong argument, as their are site backing us as well... Just none of them have a ME3 advertisment on the same page. :wizard:

I have fond memories of Gamespot, I remember in the past they had a review on Ratchet and Clank and one of the negatives was that there were too much variety. Stopped listening to them since that moment.

He is making fun of you for doing the same thing your yelling at us for, the whole "You would rather spend time arguing with someone than playing video games or..you know.. having a life?" your doing that right now.

Also I don't see what's wrong with people demanding a better product then what they got.

The only one that counts is Forbes and that sides with those who are complaining. The rest, especially Gamespot that has a history of firing a reviewer who didn't gave score that would please the publisher who also happened to be major advertiser... I find it hard to take them serious, actually nobody that used to follow them in the past does.

I don't see any reason why you should feel bad what gaming "journalists" on sites like that say.

Yup, later we'll get a "sorry, had to go clubbing/uni/gilfriend because I HAVE A LIFE" post

I mean, I'm sure he will return with a well-thought-out, proven argument :innocent:

^ this is why I expect very little support from the "Gaming Journalist" website...at the best they will be neutral..

Forbes support is the best thing we have because they are affected by EA  money ...more so EA is affect by then in the buisness world.

If changing a game does not longer make it art whats with Patches DLC etc.

Games get changed all the time. Even Movies get changed. Is Star Wars no longer Art because Geoge Lucas changed it by making the Special Edition?

It is kind of a dumb argument to say if BW changed the ending they would not longer be considered artists...

Yeah, Gamespot survived, but I don't think people really take their reviews that seriously anymore. Gaming media isn't without pressure from customers side. Even if people read them just for entertainment, mouse click for Amazon or whatever won't come form their site.

Lose your readers, lose value of your advertising space.

So another website dropping its pants and taking it, and telling us to do the same? How is that news?
