These things are  Art... and you wanna why there art Gamespot because instead of trying to be "Art" and to appaise a bunch of critics by forcing  themselves to do things that don't fit there themes.  These  works were created and the creator let time do the rest. .

That is all Mass Effect had to  do - thats all video games have to do. Stop this bull**** inferiorty complex of trying to gain approval from critics and media  that  are never going  acknowledge what you are. Instead just make the damn game.  If you make and make  it to the best of you ability what make it art is not what  some art Critic  who has his or hers head  so far up their own ass they can take five mintues to see the beauty around them. What will make it art is how we the fans tell our friends, children and those the come after how this game affected us and impact that it left . 

Thats when Games will become art.. 

Mass Effect 3 ending is not art... its some "True Art is Angsty" writer  who barely understood concepts he trying to pass along and fail  in grand face.  Mass Effect 3 had the chance to be art.  16 different endings, presenting the themes of the story in 16 different lights from 16 different prespectives . A fan base that would have debated, talked, replayed and debate more about this prepsectives.. That would have been art... that would have been defining... instead .. now is just a complete joke  that anyone with a serious head in writing  will sit back on just laugh at.

 Yeah, just proves Gamespot only cares about advertising dollars and has no idea what they are talking about when REAL media like Forbes gets it right. I used to check them out for reviews. Going to have to not do that every again.

You're mistaken.  In traditional debating, the onus of proof is on the asserter.  "DA2 DLC sold well" is an assertion.  Onus is never on the neg, because that requires proving an absence of proof.  Which is impossible unless you know everything about the subject matter.

It is a loss, sure people bought the game. But good luck selling dlcs, and future games. The faith in EA and BioWare has hit rock bottom. That is not good for a business that makes a living on pushing out new games as they can't live on the money from ME3 forever.

Someone mentioned that the stocks for EA has plummeted after the fan rage.. that can't be good, can it?

You think EA has a worst Reputation than say Activision? I recall several petitions and backlashes for Call of Duty and its still the #1 selling franchise of all time and it breaks sales every year. but... the petitions! Just wait and see since you obviously cannot see how history is against your statements. ME3 DLC will sell. just watch and half your "hold the line" people will have purchased it

They said DA2 DLC would sell as well, funny how it didnt do to well and they basicly stopped the moment they reilised noone wanted to play the game anymore.

The fact that we didn't get more is rather telling, since they said they wanted teh same amount of DLC as DA:O and ME2 had.

It takes 3-6 months to make a DLC on average. Because they're working on DA3, they may or may not make more., but just because there hasn't been one in awhile doesn't mean they didn't make enough in sales to make more.

Shaping an ending so it'd make people argue and debate(according to his words) has nothing to do with art. End of ****ing discussion.

Any commercial product is a proposition offered to us that we can label art if we want to. Paying money validates a sense of entitlement I think; if you support something financially (brand, product), so I think it's perfectly valid for us to feel entitled up untill a certain point. We did buy their product at full price, so if their product doesn't work as expected, I feel it's perfectly valid to complain and request a chance. Demanding it is a whole other matter though. One could also accept an error in their own judgement and move on.

I had hoped the ME3 ending would be satisfying, but it is not. So my error of judgement was thinking it would offer closure and believing previous statements made by BioWare. As a smart consumer, I'll just be very wary about future BW / EA released. Your ship, your rules. YOUR LOSS. It's that simple.

The "creative" can tell me I can't feel entitled all they want, they created this entitlement for themselves in order to make money (their ship). If I buy a CD I want it to play in my CD player. If I listen to a street musician and payment is optional, he can play whatever he wants and I have the freedom to pay for it or not (their rules). As soon as I pay the guy, I feel I can request a song. So as soon as I pay 80 euro, I feel I can bash it all I want if I don't like it, and I goddamn will if I feel the need to do so (their loss).

From what I know about Call of Duty is that it's a solid multiplayer game. It's selling point is not the singelplayer campaign. So I have a hard time believing that it would have the same impact as in ME3 if the screwed up the singeplayer portion/ending of that game. If they destroyed the multiplayer aspect of the game however, people would stop buying eventually.

And from what I have gathered they have not. So why wouldn't people continue to buy CoD games and dlcs year after year.

Sure you might be right, this might just be pointless, maybe the dlc for ME3 will sell. But the point is when you buy a dlc for Call of Duty you get new maps and weapons, if doesnt' make you go thinking even if I buy this dlc the ending would still be screwed up and I won't be able to save these people anyway.

And Activision(blizzard) is not immune to fan backslash. Recently they had to sack of a lot of people that works on WoW. They are loosing subscribers.

I never claimed it didn't sell, I was merely asking. Why would you think otherwise?

Also in general, you go and prove that Great Spaghetti Monster doesn't exist, can't prove that something that doesn't exist so it must exist then. Hmm....
