Result: Definitely play Mass Effect 2.

Some people were born to be firefighters, veterinarians or architects. You were destined for something greater -- to play Mass Effect 2. From an early age, you've been fascinated by the future and the mysteries of the stars. You couldn't care less about wizards and warriors. For you, the ultimate videogame experience is an open-ended romp with spaceships, aliens and intergalactic intrigue. You like your role-playing games to be chock-full of tough choices with serious consequences. Make no mistake – Mass Effect 2 is the game for you.

I already knew that, of course.
Not slightly shocked. I like Sci-Fi above all other genres. And I am probably more excited for Mass Effect 2 than Dragon Age: Origins. Not that it matters much, as both of them are a must-have for me.

Definitely play Mass Effect 2

I'm hardly surprised since the original Mass Effect is one of my favourite PC games. I really like my RPGs story driven but accessible to casual gamers. Mass Effect is pretty linear and I actually prefer that to exploration games like the ones Bethesda makes. I'm also not a fan of high fantasy (elves and dwarves and all that nonsense) but I'll get Dragon Age anyway because, let's be honest, Bioware made it.

This quiz is a piece of [censored], imo. While it does show (quite accurately) that I'm a Sci-Fi fan rather than fantasy, the fact of the matter is that sci-fi games tend to lack the depth of their Fantasy counterparts. Mass effect was nice, I admit, but most Sci-Fi games are simple shooters, not the post-novelization of the Sci-Fi literary genre.

Note the comparison between DA:O and LoTR: DA:O is (by all accounts) a work of literature, and of art. Mass Effect is close, but trips over the Commando fallacy far too many times.

I've become a "if bioware makes it i'll buy it" person so both ME:2 and DA:O are sure day one buys for me. But as for the quiz I got "leaning toward Dragon Age"
