I'm having the problem that after every mission and sometimes during missions my Squad/Ability Points completely  reset and I have no skills and no powers until I redo it. It's been doing this for awhile, the last save I could find that wasn't doing this is very very far behind where I am now.

Does anyone have a solution? I'll take adivce or help from players and the Bioware team.

Did you happen to use a trainer that gives you talent points?

Nope. I was going to use ArtMoney to alter my cash amount, but before I got to using it I realized I was making quite enough money and wouldn't have to wait long to buy armor and weapons. I haven't used a Trainer or Memory Editor on this game. This is my virgin run (after deciding not to increase money) so I want to get the whole experience before I cheat.

Edit: Also if I was cheating I'd have fully upgraded Warp Ammo. For now I can jsut look at it and wait

What you're describing happened to me after I used a trainer to get some extra talent points.

What I did was:
- reset Shepard's power from the medbay and save
- quit game and use a savegame editor to grant me 150 (aprox) talent points

After I assigned them, they stayed that way.

I've tried that a few times. Sometimes my skills are there sometimes Not. I'm so close to the end I'll just deal.
