This one is pre-assembled in China, the same size as the Normandy replica, and around $35 yeah....No sorry, I'd rather build one out of Lego and feel like I accomplished something than throw money at something the same length as a pencil (doesn't appear to be gold plated).

Will not buy any ME models until they produce one I can actually built and paint, and to scale (codex states that the big reapers and Sovereign in particular was just over 2 miles long, Normandy SR2 is probably quarter or half a mile at best in length).

at best i would say the normandy is 150-200 meters long.

Well, this pretty much kills off my hope of owning a reaper replica. The Reaper was first photographed about 6 months ago and almost no information regarding its existence, let alone pre-order information, can be located. Meanwhile, this other replica was just shown at SDCC and is already up for pre-order.

Definitely, the Normandy SR-2 looks about just under 200 meters.

Unfortunately, yes. Sometimes an action figure or collectible prototype is shown but the final product never sees the light of day. Perhaps there wasn't enough interest in the Reaper, or maybe something went on behind the scenes, but who knows?
This almost happened to the Series 2 Mass Effect action figures, but another company secured the prototypes somehow and produced the final products. I was thrilled to finally be able to acquire my Legion figure, but it looks like having a Reaper just isn't in the cards at this time.

No the Normandy is the same as previously, and the Reaper does look a bit bigger. However as of now I'd say it's not going to see the light of day.

How big are they honestly, in my eyes they look small and don't worth 40 dollars to me. I seen Airplane Models that are much bigger than it.
