Jack, Miranda, or Grunt. Not having a Krogan felt weird. Jack's character significantly improved, but not having her on board was rational and well written by Bioware. Miranda because she was my Li in ME2, plus, she was a crucial character in ME2.

Would have loved to have seen Jack on the Normandy. Throughout the game, I also found myself missing Grunt, Thane, and Miranda.

Really, I was hoping for Grunt or Legion when I got ME3. But, after seeing how everything went, I would have to say I would have liked to have Grunt the most. Legion's death is far too awesome in my opinion to get rid of it to have him a teammate. Grunt on the otherhand, I could see him joining up after his side mission.

Samara probably. One because I don't have Kaidan so I don't have Reave and two because it'd be nice to have another biotic on the team.

Seriously I was expecting all of the ME2 guys and ME1 guys to be working together in this one.
But seeing how ME3 played out they should have at least given us Kasumi, Zaeed, Miranda, Jack, and Samara.

I wish they left a spot for you to recruit whoever you wanted, outside of people who are tied to a major storyline... for a fight like this you'd think they would have let a Krogan on board. I would have asked Grunt to join me.

Jack. Not much good in a fight (except in cutscenes), but she was still one of my favorite characters. Admittedly that's partly due to nostalgia since Courtenay Taylor (her voice actress) is doing more-or- less the same voice as the one she used for Damsel in Vampire the Masquerade:Bloodlines, and Damsel's long, explosive rants were a constant source of entertainment for me in that game.
