Grunt! A Krogan is always a reliable squadmate and would have significantly made more presence than James.

I don't understand why they gave us the option, with like a need possibility or something like that with jacob, grunt, jack and miranda. Like if you decided you "needed" them in your squad you get them as member, you could always let them choose themselves or you could say don't join. If they didn't join, the war assets of the group they are with (the krogan elite group for grunt, jack her students, jacobs his science team and ex-cerberus for miranda) could like be doubled or something.
But i would choose Miranda if i could only pick one, no doubt about it!
