Jack.
If you could have one ME2 squadmate in ME3, who would it be?

Guess I'm the only one waxing goddamn nostalgic for Zaeed.

Initially I would say Grunt for sure....but after seeing Jack in ME3, and seeing that's she no longer so much of a whiney emo brat to how she's matured yet still has a filthy mouth and ****y personaly is still intact....I find her far more enjoyable. That combined with her powers and she's a pretty cool character I'd like to get to know better due to her character development....surprising, considering I hated her in ME2

Legion or Jack for me, they were my faves, but since Legion has to die then I would say Jack.

Legion.
Don't care it' s against the rules, his death makes me really depressed.
It also made no sense. Why couldn't Legion just make copies of his runtimes and send those out? Geth create backups all the damn time. What, was there just some really good Reaper DRM he couldn't crack or something? If so, why not just pull the most recent backups out of storage and subject them to the upgrade process too?
Shoulda got a good keygen.

Jack or Miranda

Jack. Easy.
Although, I seriously would've liked seeing ANY one of them as a permanent squaddie.
Since Miranda was goddamn near impossible to kill during the suicide run, I figured it would've been her.

Male Shep choice would be Miranda.
FemShep choice would be Jacob.
It would have made for an interesting story to have both LI's on the ship at the same time. Just saying.

The Codex says that an AI consists of the programming software and the bluebox hardware. EDI has also mentioned a few times she is stored in a quantum bluebox aboard the Normandy.
AI cannot be cloned or copied because the Codex mentioned something about "runtimes being unique".

I think all squadmates should have been available this time, depending on what choices you do/did in game. Chose salarians -> Mordin; chose krogans -> grunt; help mercenaries -> Zaeed... etc., but being impossible to have all them in the same playthrough.

Zaeed and/or Kasumi Goto, very entertaining characters.
Oh and Wrex. Man, if I could've gotten Wrex back and rolled around with him and Garrus..or Wrex and Zaeed. I don't think the universe could've handled that much badass at once.

Grunt or Kasumi but mostly Grunt. Shooting guys doesn't feel the same without a krogan buddy. Would perfer anyone from ME2 over EDI but I understand from gameplay perspective they had to have another squadmember that couldn't of been killed in a previous game.

Grunt, seriously thought he'd be joining after he got patched up but he kind of just vanished....
Grunt is my choice as well...
I was annoyed that he didn't join up with my group after his initial cameo...after I finished that mission I was so excited to get back to normandy and chat with him. Unfortunatly he just faded away....just like all the other ME2 characters.
Legion would be my second choice.

I wanted Grunt since I wanted to have at least one krogan. ME3 is the only one where you don't get a krogan squadmate. Made me feel much weaker. Besides Grunt though, I would have taken Jack or Samara. I personally really liked Samara as a character ad Jack's new attitude is really cool.

Miranda. When I had her with Garrus My team was unstopable in Mass Effect 2. My next choice of course would be WREX!!
