But there are some sucky bits.... like some characters/enemies not returning how they should of done. And the fact that the ending kinda sucks.
Still worth it though

If you can get past the ending as it is at the moment there are some truly awe inspiring moments and character developments for you to enjoy.

The ending may suck, but the rest of the game is worth every penny, rest assured.

I suggest once you see a shaft of light in front of you, you just quit the game and wait for the next one

Its a complex answer. Most of the game is not only amazing, its probably the best game I've ever played. But after playing the ending, I can never touch it again.
Its something you can't understand until you experience it. Warning people not to is like warning people not to smell something nasty, once your curiosity has you your going to do it anyways even if you know your going to regret it, which you will.
Or maybe your part of the minority that don't think about the ending deep enough (doesn't take much) to see how shallow and nonsensical it is.

And the by now obligatory ending warning that could not only colour you opinion of ME3 but the series as a whole.
Amazing ? No. There are some amazing moments, but there are also plenty of moments that drag those down too. It's certainly above average but how far above depends on how you take to ,or can overlook certain things.
The whole defend this place with 1 squadmate for instance is really overdone.

There are so many moments in ME3 that deserve to be experienced, and so many that will vary depending on what you've chosen.
You'll regret some things you've done, you'll be thankful for others, you'll probably laugh, shed a tear, cheer loudly and take an interupt so quickly you'll shock yourself.
The more I play through the pieces with different saves and characters and experience other sides of it - the better it gets.
It really is an awesome game.....
...which is why I don't believe its going to end the way it did.....but thats for everyone to make up their own mind about.

Some of the scenes in the game are the best in the entire trilogy, and most of the story is really good. Seeing the universe we've grown so attached to crumble is an incredible feeling.
The endings are very disappointing, but don't let 10 minutes stop you from enjoying this game. You have 30 hours of incredible content before the endings come, and it would be a loss not to experience it if you've liked this trilogy so far.

Tight gameplay and controls (guns and powers)
Interesting level design (some levels have vertical elements etc.)
Interesting and different ememies (not just one type. Each enemy type uses a different tactic)
Fun and challenging enemy AI (played on hardcore)
I loved the kinect functionality (using voice to command crew was super fun)
Great sound and soundtrack
Emotional story
Great character development
Choices from the first game really have an impact
Choices in Mass 3 are difficult to make
Powerful, emotional ending.
Cons:
Some side missions feel "empty"
Planet scanning was not fun for me (good thing this is optional)
Side notes:
-If you can, pick up the novels (you can download them from itunes). They will add some interesting backstory to some of the characters and locations that you see in Mass Effect 3. It was cool to finally see some of those characters from the novel.
-Also read the comics (you can get them in digital form). They will fill in some of the story between games etc.

you forgot a Cons, the most important one: ending will make you want to "not live on this planet anymore"
BSG ending was pure gold on comparison
