I just beat the game with my imported ME1&2 pure Paragon Shepard. Did everything with nearly 8000 resources and 100% Readiness. Been a hell of a ride. Cured the genophage and united the geth and quarians which resulted in Mordin and Legion dying. Thane also died but I guess its scripted. That was really sad I didn't see it coming but I guess you can't keep everyone alive no matter how hard you try.I have to say the ending was not what I expected. I knew it was not going to be pretty due to the sheer amount of complaints on forums but I went ahead and chose the middle beam choice which merged synthetics and organics. One thing that intrigued me however is the destruction of the mass relays and the scene after the credits with the Stargazer and apparently no matter which choice you make the mass relays get destroyed. The way I see it Shepard's story while it seems to have ended still leaves many questions unanswered. Does this mean that the destruction of the Mass Relays has sent the universe backwards with sapients having to rediscover the means to travel into space? Also judging by the scene where Joker&co crash on an unknown planet and the Stargazer and his grandchild appearing at the same location does this mean that the protagonist from the next Mass Effect game will pick up from the colony Joker&co established(I presume).
