To be fair, I think Bioware only officially tried the first and last strategies. The "entitlement" and "art" arguments have come from other gamers and reviewers who are so self-entitled that they can't tolerate opinions other than their own and who have no understanding of the critical processes that make art what it is.

True but Bioware employees did retweet links to some of these articles so I will assume they privately agreed with them. One even tweeted the last sentence of the Great Gatsby (which happens to be Urdnot Ratch's favorite human novel). Its the story of a poor krogan who lusts after an old-money asari maiden named Daisy who he met years ago on Tuchanka. He follows her to Illium makes something of his life in a vain attempt to woo her. He fails and pays the ultimate price because she proves unworthy of his affection. However this is not before he shows that he was ultimately the only one truly alive on that vapid planet.

You speak with the wisdom of the ancients. How much for lessons at this school of business? I assume I'll have to bring my own armor and ammunition, but I've got that covered - also, you don't allow Weyrloc trash in, right?

If bioware doesn't apply some of the ancient krogan wisdom found here, then they're fools. We should eat them.

Urdnot Ratch was the only Krogan to listen.

That being said, a lot of that post doesn't make any sense.

I would love to say "For Tuchanka" with psichopatic spartan voice and join the fun but I can't...I am simply too sad.

Mass Effect's fate was to join the Big Ones in the Olympus of master pieces, like Half LIfe, Deus Ex and some few choosen more and it was ruined by the most dissapointing flop ever.

Less "art" and more respect for your own creation.

"We made the endings to be memorable and stir debate amongst our fans." To a krogan this appears to be the statement of a bloodraging idiot... Once again fans who didn't like the ending just werent thinking.

Lol man, a perfect "Krogan" way to put it.

BW eventually realized that people hate art snobs and stopped this, unless you're a hipster but then you get head-butted by krogan.

Pure win

No offense, Ratch. I really appreciated your store when I was visiting Tuchanka, and the cream you sold me for that "itch" has been working great, but I'll wait until Barla Von takes a position.

Maybe I'm a little racist, but I rely on the Volus for my economical analysis.

No one doubts a volus' financial analysis, but it is a foolish turian who asks a volus for a compliment and then believes it.

Bioware should hire this guy. He makes much more sense than Casey in any interview.

He understands.

Well said.

Where do I sign? How much is tuition? Available on planet via the extra-net, or do I have to go to Tuchanka?

Oh wait, I can't... the relays were destroyed.

And now to update the situation:
After the imagination 'talking point' was issued Tuesday, the bloodrage amongst fans seemed to have calmed down. Bioware settled into a strategy popular taught at asari public relations academies. This "listening their rage away" method is practiced everywhere in the galaxy. However it's most well known practitioner is none other than the asari Consort. Many a krogan mercenary's blood rage has been subdued by this method. I wouldn't know personally about her services but I've heard from a friend who used to frequent her establishment before the krogan rebellions and before Sha'ira moved upmarket to the Presidium. He tells me that unlike ME3 there are always happy endings at Sha'ira's.

And then an app was released today that poured fuel onto the fan rage once again. This was definitely a failure of management.  It was a foolish decision to allow maker of the app to release it at this point. I am beginning to wonder if there's anyone at the controls or if the entire Bioware ship is adrift.
