What's really sad about this... when I got home on the morning of 6th with my new copy I completely expected to do 3 or more run throughs, come onto the forums and gush fanboi style about bioware and go tell all my friends about it. 2/3 of the way through I didnt have time to come on to forums because of awesomeness but did sneek in some messages to friends to go and get a copy. One evening later I was calling friends to stop them.

Bioware - people are mad because the game was AWESOME. If the game wasn't good, no one would really care about ending. They would say, well that sucked and move on. The ending sucked because of expectation that was built up over a great series and honestly, through press releases and trailers. I wish I knew how to mod mine so that instead of actually doing the earth-citadel missions, it just plays the 'Take back earth' trailer.

On the bright side its not as bad as the lies Peter Molyneux said for Fable I and II (fans were actually RELYING and hanging onto the things Peter said, there were mass forum discussions about the games amazingly great features and etc.)

Maybe The Truth DLC (its going to be free right?) will make things better though (for some/most of us at least. It still isn't right that they would mess up the ending and do it as DLC, regardless of whether its free or not.)

These are all interviews pre release. Very disappointed at the hype and the lies. So will still be here, on the forums, voicing my opinion because we need to voice our objections. We need it to be known that we remember your words, the words that gave us hope, that made us look forward to the end for years, and that you have lied to us, and we will not stand for it. We WILL voice our discouragement, we WILL call you out on your crap, and we WILL hold the line.

There's more to the ending than how you change the galaxy.  There's what happens to Anderson, to TIM, to the krogan, salarians, the other characters.  There's a lot of different endings.   :)

The paths to the endings are different. But the endings are still the same.

I will not attack the character of a single person...Casey had a job to do..he did it.

There were any number of people who could have stepped in and said "No this ending is unacceptable" but they didn't.


Anyway in ending discussion I'd have liked to see something like Fallout 2, where you get the ending of each race/planet one at a time and then you get the overall ending.

Anyways, yeah Casey Hudson had always seemed to deliver on his promises for ME more or less. Then, the ending for ME3 happened, and I remembered words like "closure" "definitive" "good" being tossed around, I didn't get any of that. Casey what happened dude?
