I would have closure. Not the kind of closure I want (in-game), but enough to know it's time to walk away from Bioware. And I don't want to be put in that position.

Since I'm not going to spend another dime on this game regardless, I honestly don't care if the "fix" the ending or not. I've put $70 into the game already - that was $70 too much. I'll likely end up selling my copy of the game to the local game store and let someone else be unfortunate enough to play it.

I would be singing this song if that happened. As a 'tribute'.

It depends on who makes the statement. If Casey Hudson specifically says that they have no intention of making an ending DLC, then I'll be looking forward to it. :P

I would say goodbye to Bioware. Uninstall their games, and go buy Skyrim (I was holding off buying it until after ME3).

But yes, confirmation would be nice. Bitter, but nice.

I would be relieved in the sense that I wouldn't be spending way too much time trying to interpret Tweets and other such things. I'd be pissed, and I'd be done with Bioware for good, (that's happening from now on UNTIL they announce something positive anyway) but I'd at least know what was happening.

they wont announce that because they want to keep people on the hook.

bioware -"we're releasing a new DLC next month!"
fans - "omg omg omg, maybe its a fixed ending!"
bioware - "take back omega! a grand adventure and mission, even a new companion!"
fans - "UGH! dammit! well...maybe i'll buy it, the next DLC could fix the ending?"
bioware - "maybe!"
fans - "ok fine"
bioware - "our next DLC, explore the batarian homeworld and fight the reapers there!"
fans - "dammit! well maybe the next one....maybe?"
bioware - "maybe! keep hope alive!"
fans - "......"

at least thats probably what they hope people will do.

Well, no.

I'd then just end up playing multiplayer only, until I get bored of it and move onto another franchise.

Would be nice to know if it'll happen or not...

But if they went that route, they'd be digging their own graves

Casey hudson has said that there will be no ending DLC:

"I didn't want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people--debating what the endings mean and what's going to happen next, and what situation are the characters left in," he said. "That to me is part of what's exciting about this story. There has always been a little bit of mystery there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people can talk about after the fact.

Well it definitely wont be forgotten casey, watch your profits drop off the edge of the galactic map.

Yes, because it would be a catalyst for no longer pre-ordering games solely due to the Bioware name. In all seriousness in the past ten years I would estimate that roughly 60-70% of my video game expenditures has gone to Bioware games and until the last two I never had a second thought about this practice.

Oh hell naw...

I would definitely throw down a Lo Pan move from 'Big Trouble in Little China.'

While there is no announcement, my hope remains that they're talking in back rooms to arrange funding for a genuine epilogue. If they announce there will be none, this hope will be snuffed out. I don't know if you call that relief. I'm prepared to be patient in the hope that they can come up with something that will satisfy my need to know how the stories of this game really concluded.

I would be proud of BioWare for manning up. In the day of keyboard warriors and internet cowards, it would be nice to see someone with some balls for a change.

If BioWare sticks to their guns about this ending, even though I don't like the ending I will at least have respect for the company.

And I might just add a new time card to SWTOR and go back to enjoying because I know it's made a company with at least a shred of integrity.

Silence is the path of the scared.

Well..... To be fair He did not actually say that there would'nt be a dlc ending. Maybe maybe it was a way to "spark" the community to "hype" or they wanted our opinion after their "shot in the dark ending" or they did'nt have time to make thier ending perfect or...... they have lousey writers.... well

I'd give up on the studio. Nothing can save them if they don't acknowledge their mistakes.
