No. I'd just never buy another Bioware or EA product ever again.

No. And I'd have yet another reason to kick every creative writing teacher in the teeth for ruining yet another story with this asscrockery regarding 'The Path of the Hero'.

If there are no plans and there is no hope, then yes, I would like BioWare to simply state this and allow us to move on.

I don't believe my initial feeling would be relief, but I would much rather know now if they have no intention of changing or expanding the ending.

if the truth dlc is legit and fixing the me3 endings. then ill state the obvious, bioware can either fix this with DLC thus saving most of its fanbase and future profits.

or they can sit back and do nothing and watch as their future profits crumble along with bioware opinions.

Only time will tell what they are going to do.

I would say goodbye to my favorite Space Opera IP and I would probably have a hard time playing through any of the games again. I still can't bring myself to play it again, and I just bought the thing.

Bioware/EA aren't stupid. We will prevail.

I won't be buying any DLC or anymore Bioware games unless the ending is sorted. It's really not worth getting my hopes up for any other Mass Effect or Dragon Age games if they can't get the culmination of such a great trilogy right.

Saying that they will not change the ending will only confirm that Bioware is seriously arrogant enough to believe that it was a good ending, and not an offensive ending.

That to me destroys any credibility they have left.

Well, it would save me some time I'd otherwise spend following their plans for this game and any other titles they're planning. Which is precisely why they aren't saying anything. They're still hoping we will "get over it".

I love it when these ridiculous posts backfire on their creators.

And that's a "no" from me.

The forums would explode in vitriol for a few days and then there would be peace and those of us that still love the games regardless of the endings would finaly be able to talk about the game itself without being trolled about the ending in threads that have nothing to do with the ending.

No, and even if that won't matter to them they'll lose a costumer.

Casy himself said they use customer feedback to decide upcoming dlc. And almost all the customer feedback is about the ending. He also said singelplayer dlc was coming. Im going to be an optimist and putt those two statements together. We dont have to much to worry about i hope

Depending on when the announcement was made. I might actually be amused, if only to then watch and hopefully see their DLC sales plummet like a stone thrown in a lake.

I'm already operating on the assumption that there won't be anything other than a bugpatch. So the only direction to go is pleasant surprise.

Bioware will loose this customer.
I like to believe that this is all part of Bioware's plan in that in the coming months they will gives us DLC's of multiple branching endings that will give us satisfying conclusions.
I really don't want to believe that Bioware gutted the ending because, they simply ran out of budget, ran out of time and just tact on an nonsensical ending at the last min or they are nothing more then prophet mongers that cares nothing for there own art and everything they do and say is designed to maximise prophets at the expense of quality and promises which as far as I'm concerned is the one thing EA is most famous for in my opinion.
But the only dlc I'm prepared to purchase for Mass Effect 3 are the ones that address the ending, anything else will just be a pointless waist of time.

Actualy that is all I have been hearing which is a damn shame.  This game is too good for people to just fixate upon the endings like this.
