Merizan - are you sure he went meekly into the night?"
Is it just me or does this sound like its being responded to by Chatterbot?

I doubt they will call it truth.
They will probably call it something like "Awakening" kinda like the DAO expansion.
BioWare can name it the Hangover. Seems like an apt name to explain / conclude all this mess.

Some twittering with the devs - are we trolled or they are up to something that will blow us all away?
User 1: "I still want to believe you guys are sneaky trolls and have something going on you don't tell us yet. Can I get a cryptic reply?"
@masseffect: "The sun, it shines. www.youtube.com/watch"
User 2: "You are either a massive sadist or a beacon of hope."
@masseffect: "Can't it be both?"
User 3: "I kinda feel lost after that ending...not what I expected and left me feeling everything done was for nothing."
@masseffect: "We know it's a lot to take in! But hang in there. Your decisions matter."
User 4: "Are you holding something back, that could quell the large amount of frustration from the community, a tiny hint would be enough."

User 5: "I loved 98% of ME3..but something has to be up w/ ending..too much talent at BW for that business. Keep my saves?"
@masseffect: "We're keeping our saves, that's for sure."
User 6: "Fans are people too. Playing with their minds isn't that nice as it may look like to people from Bioware."
@masseffect: "We're not playing with anyone's minds, we are answering what questions we can and recording what feedback we receive."
User 7: "Its not that the ending was taken in the wrong direction its that it makes NO SENSE. Ashley was on the Normandy? she [was] with me."
@masseffect: "Probably a good thing to be cautious of."
User 8: "Do y'all have any ETA when more news will be released? Dying for news on a new ending/DLC."
@masseffect: "No ETA yet, but you will be updated via Facebook and Twitter when the news is available."
And some more:
User 1 -Well, i think i'll stop naggin you and trying to get you to talk about the indoctrination theory.Good game though!
Merizan - I want people to make up their own minds right now, then when more people have played we'll talk
User 2 - then I want to SEE that he was lying. I want to get up and finish the fight with Commander Shepard. Then retire.
Merizan - augh. want. to. discuss! Staying spoiler free for now
User 3 - But should've confronted the kid instead. Shep went meekly into the night.
Merizan - are you sure he went meekly into the night?
Now this gives me some legit hope.

Either
a) Bioware was planning on these endings to be a place holder and then 6 months to a year down the road after all of their other dlc is released they unveil the True Ending DLC that allows players to finish the fight on their terms. This would probably be DLC that we would be charged for, kind of like Arrival was.
or
This is all based on rumor and wishful thinking of course but it would seem that option A is unlikely to play out like they originally planned and based on the initial extreme negative reaction, Bioware will have to make an announcement about this future dlc much sooner than they had expected, but they may still decide to charge us for it.
Option B would be nice, but only if it is free. They gave us free dlc for ME2, didn't they? I don't expect that they'll try to force us to buy ending dlc withheld just to fight the spoilers, but... charging people who purchased the game new for Javik was actually kinda bs as he really does feel like he was supposed to be in the game from the beginning so... maybe they do think they have the quad to demand we pay for our end.
Again. All just rumors and wishful thinking, but it helps pass the time

why? because every other aspect of the game has been "leaked", right down to the entire plot.
Bioware's ship has so many leaks im suprised it hasn't sank to china yet.

The game had to be rushed at the end, and wasn't complete. And they had to have time to finish it. Now, this actually makes sense in light of the fact that there isn't an end boss, the enemies seem a little sparse in variety (we don't get mercenaries to fight this time) and we don't get to do much exploring.
So to save face they might have split the ending away as a DLC--which would also prevent anyone getting the ending spoiled too soon.
But that said, and much as I'd like it to be true, I don't believe this is the case. I don't believe this Magical Ending DLC exists. There's too little proof; you would trust this information on the word of some random person on the Internet? But if actual evidence comes out soon, it's something to watch for. Even if it does exist and is free, it still looks really bad for the company due to the "releasing an unreleased product" thing, not to mention how many fans are angry and have already returned their copy. They'd have likely announced it by now to ease the massive backlash they're getting now, rather than waiting until everyone has sold back their copy. And, selling a supposedly complete game only to release the ending a few weeks later does set an unusual precedent.
There is something to be said for it, if that is the case, though. It could set a precedent for serial releases, which I'd be okay with as long as I only had to pay for the total game once, or it could set a precedent for us having to ultimately pay other companies for the right to finish a game that should have been released complete to start with.
I want a better ending. My sig attests to that. It doesn't have to be butterflies and lollipops, but the game needs the closure that we were promised, even if the Mass Effect franchise continues onward. I was expecting Shepard to die, but I also expected to know what happened to everyone I'd helped out along the way, and to see a funeral clip or something--to have a few words spoken about my Shepard's eventful life.
One thing is sure, though: There is little hope for the future of the Mass Effect franchise (we were long promised that the end of Shepard's story would not be the end of Mass Effect) if the current ending is the real one.

Awwww. Hang in there. I hope it's true and your Shep and Garrus can laugh about it on the beach drinking cervesas.
Even if it's not though, there will always be better games and better stories on the horizon.

The game was rushed, ergo incomplete at release and that paid DLC, at a later date, will offer you the complete ending. That doesn't sound like a very good precedence to set.

I want to believe... But i can't. There have been so many false hopes so far. I really don't believe in bioware anymore.
I defended them at every turn up until the endings were released. And even then I defended them because i said they would never mess up an ending that bad. Then I saw the endings with my own eyes and I lost my mind. I am not the only one by proof of the facebook group, the over 33,000 dollars raised for charity, the multiple articles on OUR side.
