To me, that's meant to be coy. They're effin teasing us. If only there was a winky face after, then we would know!

teasing would be ok.. but I am starting to get so frustrated about this that I cant evan concentrate on learning for my exams ;(

oh I totally believe it!!! seems quite obvious to me --- btw too much pessimism out there, you gotta keep faith fans, only ~one week after the release of ME3 and y'all wanna give up .....have to agree though ^ I have an exam in one week that I really should start studing for.........

This is there biggest franchise, what they do with this game, and C&C is going to make us lifetime gamers. They don't let us down. Even the DA2 ending was amazing, because it left the door wide open for DA3, and the better console option made it more competitive in the multi genre they make their games. I for one am both thumbs up for Bioware/EA and their team. Especially the multi studio support and production that EA has been utilizing to increase the quality of all their games. This is not Bethesda/Activision, or even Piranha or id, Bioware has an amazing team, and they do know their craft, and have made games like Fallout 3, Doom, and Rage look really bad in comparison. Even Skyrim is really light in story and effects long term overall quality gameplay and replay potential in comparison.

Why the hell wouldn't I.  They named their DLC about Reapers arriving "The Arrival" didn't they.  Why not name the DLC about the true ending "The Truth".

Right now, the only thing standing between me and wanting to believe this is what Casey Hudson said. Things like:
'DLC content will always be optional'
'We will never put lore into a DLC'
also 'Any DLC released for ME3 will likely be before its events.' and 'The DLC, whether it’s day one or not, is always going to be sugar on top, the extra… You know, the extra little bits of content that tell side stories.'

Of course, this was him trying to defend 'From the Ashes' Day one DLC, so he may have exaggerated some things, still...

If I don't believe in the DLC, I do believe that Bioware is going to do something about it. Like you said, they are way too good to do this to a game. I'm not sure of the circumstances, but I do have faith in Bioware and what they do.

I mean, we never know, it could come as a free patch. Or maybe free for people who already own the game. Who knows? They'll surprise us. Like they did with Thane's death, Mordin's death, etc...

Nope, I have already headcanoned and descided Im not associating with any future Mass Effect work after this hack job. Interviews seem to make it clear this was the intended ending because they fell for the "force cleverness for the sake of being 'different'" flaw. They can take their hackery and shove it.

I really didn't like the endings so if Bioware is planning to make a DLC with a more satisfying ending then I can only hope at this point because I invested so much time into this amazing game I want....NEED to have an ending that will make all my work worth something.

I am cautiously optimistic about the legitimacy of "The Truth" DLC rumor, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up and have my soul crushed a second time

I'm gonna call shenanigans on this guys post for two reasons:

1) giving out free DLC. Not just single player...but multiplayer. I'd maybe have a little faith in a free ending DLC, but a free multiplayer DLC? Doubtful.

2) Prothean alien class. The Multiplayer is supposed to be in parallel with the singleplayer (and judging from the maps and back story given in SP, I'd say yeah, this is true). Javiik is the only surviving Prothean, and that's not going to change. I doubt Bioware would put Prothean classes into multiplayer for that continuity.

That, and it's a 4chan anonymous post.

1). Been done before, Firewalker, Zaeed, ect. More than likely this would just be their way of flipping illegitamate pirates the bird.

2). Who says Javik is the last? Perhaps there's a "Eden Prime" out there that worked. Knowing Bioware, they would do that sort of thing, which would also prove their point that From Ashes is optional, if Javik is not the last.
