I want to believe but I cannot and I have the BIGGEST reason why it is bollocks.

If "The Truth" DLC is real (which means the real conclusion to the game isn't in the game) and they are releasing it for free, the not everyone could obtain it. You see even if the DLC is free XBL is NOT FREE, so if you do not have XBL then you cannot download the DLC. So unless they are giving everyone a limited free voucher for XBL then half of Xbox owners wont be able to play the damn thing.

No the press has been too negative, the backlash too strong, and the fact that they would waste money created "false endings" makes no sense. The sad truth is someone actually thought these endings were good, that ME fans would love them, and that it was a fitting end to the series. They of course were WRONG.

Got to agree. I was thinking it over last night, and the only thing I can think of is if they basically released discs in a cheap paper/plastic holder on a retailer level for free. In any case I still imagine even that would be a hefty sum to do.

I have no trouble believing this is real. Bioware was completely unable to stop entire scripts from leaking out. Why should we expect them to be any better at keeping a lid on things now?

Good point.

Ugh... I don't pay for Xbox Live and I can download any content I want. I have all the DLCs from ME1 & 2, plus all the DA 1 & 2. I just can't do MP which I'm cool with, especially since Datapad came out.

I want to believe it, I really want to, but I just think of how much it will hurt if I hope and it turns out to be false.

I think we'd have to buy Satan a winter coat before something called "The Truth" DLC is ever released...

If it all turns out to be true, I will love Bioware forever.

The way they got me so frothy over the ending at first only to pull one of the biggest stunts in video game history = genius.

This is not genius I have been pissed off for 4 days and have had no desire to play games at all. It will probably take another 2 weeks for me to get over it and move on.

If they did this I am even more mad. I will want my money back as well as some extra for them putting me through that. This is not what you should do and I want Bioware to shut there doors forrever and the whole dev team to be out there jobs.

I want Bioware to go under as an example so other companies won't dare try something like this again.

Yea. This was posted on 4chan the other day.

Its not happening. None of it makes any sense.

The only thing about this is the "Firebase Hive"

That just sounds really legit. Here's to hoping.

Your argument is flawed based of number 1. If they knew the ending would ****** off fans they wouldn't have chose it. While you cannot please everyone knowing their ending would please only a small fraction of people (mostly those new to the games) or those who don't base any of their reasons on logic then they would have chosen a different ending.

I accept the possibility. It would explain the plot holes and inconsistencies in the existing endings, the "trust us" tweets, and the general discrepancy in writing quality between the rest of the game(s) and the 3 Rails ending.

Do I believe? No, not until I can smell the cake. But I would like to see it happen, and consider to be possible.

It's from the Collectors edition of the game. It shows shepard's arm grabbing some other guys arm to pull him backup.

There's no evidence at all. Supporting, or to the contrary.

There is a complete and total lack of historical precedent. It being a behavior absolutely contrary to anything EA or Bioware has ever done.

Beyond that, it's Russell's Teapot. It's my invisible leprachaun. It's as valid as my claim that Bioware employs shapechanging lizards.

I think you're misreading. I read the OP as "The multiplayer part of the DLC has a new map that is found in the single-player part of the DLC to which you should definately take Jarik".

In the same way that the multiplayer maps (what little I've played of them) seem to be lifted from the single-player campaign; this new DLC multiplayer map will be lifted from the  single-player part of the DLC.

Not a grounds to question the validity of the OP imo.

I agree- andHackett says, right in the beginning of the game, that they'll send in personnel to defend key positions once you've taken them back.  I want the DLC to be true, don't know if it will be- but BMA's comment doesn't really add or detract from the evidence.

So my assumption turns out to possibly be correct? Cool!

I remember telling whoever had the patience to listen that they likely created the endings in such a way that they could continue them through DLC, without having to retcon the placeholder content. It was a dangerous move from a business perspective, but if this is true, well worth the wait.

The person is just attaching himself to that leaked picture to make himself seem more credible. The Collector's are dead. You can't "bring Javik to multiplayer." and they aren't just going to invent more Protheans for multiplayer.

Don't be gullible. This is a waste of time.

No source, no credibility. Remember that this is the Internet.

I want to believe. I really, really do.

I just can't understand why Bioware would stay silent on this issue if they had something planned.
