hope is all we have! and like u said we trust Bioware! they've made great games i loved dragon age 2 (even if most didnt) and its true that the endings have too many unanswered questions. I do think the dark energy ending is the cannon ending but since it was leaked bioware decided to do a big FU to the people who leaked it!

One can only hope they adress this issue soon or at the latest on april 6 at PAX untill then we will:

I'm going to stick my neck out and say there will be more protheans other than Javik, in an expanded ending. How/why and how many, I don't know - you can quote and laugh if this turns out to be false, but I'm going to take a chance.

I believe there will be something coming, mainly because the alternative diminishes my interest in the fiction.

It probably is one massive troll. And even if this is true, I find it hard to believe a developer would risk their reputation like this.

I believe. But only because if I discontinue my suspension of reality I can't play video games at all.

Like you, I simply can't believe that Bioware would so carefully craft such an amazing game then at the last minute, when you are half in tears from empathised exhaustion, joy and exhiliration, do the equivalent of posing a video of a funny cat and say "yea that's it".

i want to believe and i have reasons. Why:

1- EA owns BW, protests are not good for business and ME3's prices already dropped in amazon, also dropped in Switzerland, which is my country.

2-There's no official response ABOUT endings. I'm not talking about some 'walkarounds' i want to hear directly from developers: ''No this was end we desired, and you'll have to move on with this' so far i didnt hear anything like this.

3- People says 4chan is fake however, Casey Hudson already confirmed this DLC.

4-Same source says there will be 'The Truth' DLC which damn make sense, if i would be BW i would release actual end DLC and create impact on people. Hope they're thinking this sense.

5- The game was abso-fooking-perfect, you cant make a game this good with s**t finale, it's not possible, they cant screw that hard.

6- Indoctrination theory

7- Unclear Twitter messages. People asking about DLC and they keep saying: Hold on, patience, keep your saves. Seriously, i there's no post-end why should we keep our savedata anyway ?

4chan is the internet's hate machine.

Either way 4chan hates Buy-o-ware drones enough to make a hoax, and then laugh some more as they watch hopes being shattered.

This is a hoax. I don't care if you call me pessimistic, 4chan is the source of this 'reference' material and people would be incredibly stupid to pin their hopes on that.

it hit me couple minutes ago that the after end [the ending] game saves and OVERRIDES the save from within [look at time played-last save [the save while in last earth mission, and the autosave just after credits] the time is LESS than last possible END SAVE TIME] there's vgot to be a reason for that besides the "stranger outro" says "details were lost" i dunno how about the rest of you but i'm not dooming ME3 until EVERYTHING is lost we have to HOLD THE LINE

I'm hoping Bioware are in the middle of possibly the riskiest move in video game history, when they say to their players after several weeks (they can't leave it too long, or we will have lost the thread of faith currently keeping many people going) that their reaction was part of the process. The ultimate role playing experience. I mean, look at the reaction so far. $30,000 dollars to charity, and still climbing. 43,000 people (so far) voting on a community poll. Conspiracy theories on a scale barely seen since the X Files came out. Everything from community aimed video game media to respectable mainstream business press chipping in their opinion. Could they have expected that? If not, can they ignore it?

It will be something of a dick move, but by god the ballsiest dick move a company has ever made.

Here's hoping.

Wasn't there a guy who got a save editor and all the saves showed all his "complete" games "incomplete"?
