I think I'm just about done. I've wasted three days of my life thinking about nothing else but I can't think that's good for my work performance or my relationship with wife and son. I need to get back to the real world and forget about Bioware forever. They are far to arrogant to ever admit they failed and I'm not waiting around for some response that probably isn't coming and if it is won't be adequate. I feel like investing further in it emotionally is a win for them.

this^, still way to early for people to start dismissing evidence of the indoctrination theory, give it time, at this point it's really coming down to the question of, did the writers make a mistake or did the writers do something that's never been done before and would be totally awesome (and honestly, isnt half the reason we all love(ed) bioware so much because their writing was so fantastic?) Hell, even yhatzee acknowledges that they are known for their stories, why are we so quick to throw out the possiblity that they are actually planning something?

as long as it takes. Six months? Year? More? I registered to this forum only because of the endings. I am a great fan for a couple of years now. And I will hold the line
(I want human turian baby with Garrus. Why couldn't they invented some technology that would allow different races breed with each other? Goddammit

Omg until we get clarification on that ending! So.. oooh So frustrated at the moment. I want the whole thing to be a dream... yet this means Bioware gave "Oh it was all a dream ending" here the real one for $10...
>.< I swear if that is how that goes down... good grief.
I will hold the line until Bioware answers for this!

I'm not really worried about it.
Honestly, if BioWare doesn't address this or change it, the game will go down as having one of the worst endings of all time. If you think people are going to forget this, you are mistaken. As someone that is a fan of pop culture, bad endings have a way of haunting and undermining an entire series.
Look no further than the Matrix or LOST. Being a huge LOST fan, I can tell you that 90% of the conversation that now dominates it, is about how awful the ending was. How it ultimately let viewers down, and undermined the series.
IMO Mass Effect has an even worse ending for various reasons. So if BioWare decides to not do anything about it, this will be the legacy of the game, sadly. No one will talk about the journey, but the destination. Not because the ending was bad, but because it **** on everything you did prior.
So if people get tired of holding the line and move on, it will naturally continue to haunt BioWare and the series.

Well, I'm on holiday anyways, so I have time
. Seriously though, I want at least an honest reply from BioWare adressing this whole mess. Hey, I can give them time, I'm patient enough, but if all I get to hear from them in the future is "buy our multiplayer stuff here and give us your money there, 'cause we really don't care about your opinion and just want to get some cash out of you"...well, there's plenty of other companies I can give my money to, that actually deserve it. This whole mess with god knows how many different fan complaints from DA2 to dlc issues etc has just been going on for too long and I'm getting sick and tired of it. The insult that is the ME3 ending(s) is just the icing on the cake and even if there's a lot of stuff I can accept from them, seeing as they used to be my favorite company, this I just cant. So, if nothing changes, I'm out for good. If it does, I'll get the dlc and buy SWTOR, making EA ever so happy. Just voting with my wallet, it seems to be the most effective strategy.

As long as it takes. We've put countless years, money and love into this series. We deserve a straight answer at least.

Indefinitely. I'm not stopping until the Mass Effect trilogy gets the ending it deserves.

Not like you can stop waiting for something till it comes out.
The real choice is going to be if you think it's worth it or not when something comes out.

The whole point of holding a line is to not break under pressure.

This is a line. You will hold it.

You know they are flabbergasted. otherwise someone would have commented in the spoiler forum on the review thread by now otherwise. The lack of one single "keep 'em coming" reply is damning. Every BW game release in the past few years has been loaded with Dev and Mod talk within a week of release.
Either that or they no longer even pay attention to the forum.....
