Hey,
so I just downloaded From Ashes and apperently I was supposed to get a Message in-game to start the mission but I never got it. The DLC is successfully downloaded but I got it on my brother's profile and I'm wondering if that may be the issue.

I am having the same issue. Thought maybe there was a problem when I downloaded the DLC and have downloaded it again twice now. The mission is still not showing up, I have not gotten the extra outfits for my squad -- nothing. I am well into the second act and nothing for this DLC is showing up. From the start screen I can see in the "Downloadable Content" menu that I have indeed purchased the DLC.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one having this problem!! It just was not showing up at all. Just linked it to my bioware social, exited game, redownloading, and going to see if it's showing up now. Yes I'm logged in on same account, checked my profile and it lists Fro
ashes as being unlocked on the 360. Made sure my online profiles were visible, see all my achievements now.
And BOOM!! It's now working!!!!

I have the same issue.
I noticed that even though my correct gamertag was associated and I could see my achievements and stuff here, and From Ashes and online pass was listed as being avaliable, it didn't say I owned the game. I had to click on the 'register game' link in the list of games. This enabled me to post in the forums as well.
Then, I redownloaded and it showed up!
I am guessing that it will only work if you have registered the game on BSN site - which is really bad customer service. I should not have to go to this site to unlock content I payed for
EDIT to add: I noticed that even if I coudl import my DA I characters and view them, I am not listed as an owner of the game. (or any other BW game I own and is linked to this account. Odd)

settings>system>storage>(your device)>games and apps>mass effect 3> check to see if the download says incomplete. then delete and redownload
