I didn't mind Chobot's character but she wasn't all that spectacular either. Especially the voice acting, it was as bad as Mark Meer (no offense, just my opinion).

I would have happily welcomed Emily Wong aboard the Normandy.

I didn't mind the character, but I did mind the fact that I had someone who looked like Snooki on my ship for the whole game. I'd have preferred Emily Wong myself.

For her role, Allers made sense. But I would've preferred Wong over her, Wong is familiar and a fan favourite while Allers was obviously put there as eye candy.

They could've at least picked decent eye candy.

I had no knowledge of Jessica Chobot before ME3 but regardless I would have preferred Emily Wong just because she's an established part of the universe.

I don't know who Chobot is, but regardless the first time I saw her character I just flat down denied her the opportunity to come on my ship. I'm trying to save the galaxy here, not make a god damn reality show.

See, for me, it actually made alot of sense to have her on. A war can be won or loss by morale. If people on Earth know that we are doing everything we can to save them, that the cavalierly is coming, that hope is alive, I would want them to know that.

Even if they have to hear it from someone who can't act and looks like an old snooki.

Ah always wondered why I had not seen Emily Wong anywhere - she was killed off in the opening salvo from the Reapers. But had she been alive - yup would have welcomed her aboard. As someone else has said all Diana (Chobot) was is a war asset. Wasn't impressed with the character particularly and since I already had an LI that part of the 'character' was not going to be a go from the start.

Starting my third playthrough this afternoon because, despite crap endings, this game is still a masterpiece. I'll pick up Chobot this time around to see if she is any go

I wish it had been Wong as well but that won't happen seeing as she died ramming a skyvan into a Reaper somewhere in SoCal.

She may not have gotten that interview I promised her way back in ME1 but hell it was an epic journey following that twitter feed, especially since I live in SoCal.

Call me negative, but it seems like letting a member of the gaming media be a part of your video game will lead to pressure to review the game in a positive light. Wong's death was pretty G though on Twitter. I would of preferred Amy over Chobot though, Chobot is not a voice actor, and it shows.

I came in thinking that I would hate Allers (Chobot), but I ended up not minding her all that much. That said, I would have prefered Wong. It would have brought a bit more continuity to the game.

Short answer to OP: Yes.

We actually give a damn about Emily, she's nice, and she's interesting. Also, Emily can do the "news reporter voice". You know, that tone that newscasters speak in? Jessica's lines are all delivered with this creepy, uninterested deadpan. I can't stand her voice, and her delivery is atrocious.

Also, Jessica is ugly, and her virtual representation is REALLY ugly.
