It's funny how Bioware got it right when they made a sub-plot to the game, the Geth-Quarian war, be decided based on your actions in ME2 and ME3 (Geth win war; Quarians die OR Quarians win war; Geth die OR peace between Geth and Quarians; nobody dies.) Those are three very distinct endings with real consequences that can affect the player emotionally.

Yet, they could not apply the same system to the very end of ME3 that wraps up the whole saga nicely where all of your major actions from the past three games have an impact on how it all ends. This may have been too complicated for Bioware, so they just decided to go the easy route and give the player some color options.

For the record, I chose the Blue ending. If I had chosen the Red ending, I would have destroyed the Geth and undermine what I did in ME2 and ME3 to bring peace between them and the Quarians. Made no sense for me to just wipe them out after the fact at the end of the game when all my preceding actions were meant to save both races and bring peace.

The ending DLC sure as **** better be free because they ran out of time or some other excuse. I will not pay a dime for it.

Yes, and I can't stop laughing about it after the fact. I'm glad that I was able to go from a pissed off and openly weeping mess to laughing my ass off at how utterly ridiculous this is.

Game fell wayyy short of expectations. Too busy making it "better with kinect", to properly fill in gaping plot holes. Not to mention the day one dlc money grab and lack of pc gamepad support. And then to white wash it with "it was our intent to cause a schism for an unforgettable ending" crap that ignores what fans are actually complaining about.

Should have went with my gut after the disappointment of Dragon Age II. Bioware has to change a great deal before they ever get another cent from me.
