Just amazing that BW and EA put so little effort into the end of a triliogy of games that had become a example of gaming excellence and now will be remembered for the sheer scale of sloth and meaness with such a lacklustre ending.

How many times do we have to tell you! He didn't lie! This really isn't a traditional game ending! And it's not just an A B or C ending. Why can you not understand that!

It's a 1a, 1b, 1c ending. And it's not traditional because traditional endings have a sense of closure and stay true to the themes of the game. They don't actively contradict the themes.
