Chobot wasn't that bad, I'm assuming the hate is coming from we've seen her face before hand and the fact that it doesn't help that she's herself in the in-game model, but a different name - so it's just us judging her from IGN and taking away from her actual performance, at least IMO. Honestly, I didn't think anyone was bad, but that's just me.
Worst voice actor in-game?

Poor Chobot. Getting hated on. I like her as a host on G4 and stuff, but that's the problem... she is a TV host, not an actress. I see what Bioware did there -- take a girl with a nerd following and turn her into a character in their game. Worked great for Felicia Day in DA2. But the difference is Felicia Day actually is an actress, Chobot is not.

- Whoever voiced the NPC female character who you're forced to talk with during the last N7 mission (I think). It's really, really bad.
- Chobot.
<A TON of space between 2 and 3>
- William Salyers (ME3 Mordin). He did damn good for not being Michael Beattie, but his cadence was off, and Mordin's signature sharp inhale just wasn't right.

I was willing to give Chobot a chance - I certainly don't hate her for being her - but her voice acting was so monotone and... dull, she didn't sound interested at all which made her role as a "reporter" even more hilarious. The only way they could have made it convincing was if she was reporting for the BBC's 10pm slot.
That and it confirmed out worries it was just a fanboy cash-in.

Jessica Chobot....had never heard of her before ME3, so no bias....simple fact is she is not an actress or voice actress and it shows glaringly.

Chobot wasn't stellar, but also wasn't totally awful in the VA dept (though not particularly good either). The bigger issue was that the character seemed very forced, especially with two other previous journalists the game had in the game. More than anything, her odd character model (THE KNEES!) coupled with the "forced" feel I think is the reason for the hate, rather than the VA'ing itself, especially since she doesn't actually say all that much XD
The Stargazer sequence didn't bother me too much, the problem with it is that it comes after a junkpile of an ending. Had the ending been decent, I think complaints would have been less. Buzz Aldrin as a cameo is super cool and lends something fun to the game, once you realize who it is, it really adds some cool impact, its only sin being that the actual game ending is so awful. I wish people would be more respectful about Mr. Aldrin's role and person regarding that, as some of the comments have been...unseemly for a guy like that who had nothing to do with the bad ending we were given.
To me actually the child/starchild VA'ing was the worst, very flat and it sounded like someone brought their kid in from school to read off lines verbatim.

Chobot.
Good God she was bad... >.<
Stuck out like a sore thumb with all the better actors in-game.

I did not mind Chobot at all. Ok, next to the usual cast she was not great but she did a good enough job, no complaints from me.
The worst voice actor in the series, for me, has to be Mark Meer. I just can’t really take him seriously. He sounds far too emotionless to be engaging. Perhaps it’s because I mostly play as Femshep, who I think is one of the best voiced characters in gaming history.

Diana Allers(Chobot). I can't tell if she was just supposed to be some stone cold faced reporter with no emotion to the millions dying around the galaxy, all she cares about is ratings and even towards the end when she finds out about her home I felt she really didn't care. Really felt awkward, wish I had the choice to bring Khalisa aboard at least.
