If you didn't know who Chobot was, Allers just came off as a bit strangely spoken, not horrible. The foreknowledge colored perceptions, I suspect.

She's still the worst VA though, if only because all the other VAs were SO AMAZING.

I'm not counting Buzz, because of where he showed up, and because he's awesome

Truthfully, I believe anyone who appears in a form of media, which Chobot does, should be better equipped to do voice acting. 

Yvonne Strahovski, Martin Sheen...not voice actors yet deliver amazing results. Didn't anyone tell her when you do voice acting you have to emote with your face? Every single word has to have an expression as your recording. Honestly, I would have gotten...Jenna Marbles to do it?

For those who say Kai Leng; I highly disagree.  His talents aren't really shown off, because he's such a quiet character, but Troy Baker is a very talented voice actor. 

Anyway, the worst voice actor is definitely the kid in the outro video.  Buzz Aldrin was better than expected, actually... I think he has practice doing cameo's in cartoons.  His dialogue was kinda cringe worthy, but his performance itself was pretty decent. 

Jessica Chobot really stuck out.  Couldn't care about the character at all.  Should have been Emily Wong.

EDIT: Haha, no one had even said Kai Leng.  Tons of people had been saying Kai Leng in another thread, guess I just assumed.

We don't need to like the character, nothing against this sentiment, but there's some things even worse than her.
Saying that, I don't understand why people slam Allers so much, Mordin VA is much worse than hers.
Or engineer Ken Donelly, gosh, the VA trying to sound irish is bad, very bad.

Or are we talking about the characters, not VA?

It's difficult to rightfully judge Mordin's voice actor since he has to live up to Beattie and it's not fair. I think he did his absolute best to replicate him.

Definitely Chobot. It just sounded like she was reading the lines into a microphone. Which she was of course, but it's not supposed to be that obvious.

Jessica Chobot. I think even if the character model was appealing, I'd find the voice acting to be "meta". She sounds like a fan voicing a character, rather than like a professional voice actor crafting a character. She sounds like someone who is "in on the joke" that it's a game, rather than like a person living in that world.

Buzz Aldrin.. Sucks but true. Bioware should have had a CE only audio file with him screaming at the moon(s) ala 30 Rock.
