Oh, and FemShep. I don't care what anyone says, I think Hale is a super b*tch, and she does an awful job. My opinion of course, but I just... I can't stand her...

Someone being a **** shouldn't effect their performance, though (and I have no idea where you got that from, but I don't really follow Hale).  Some of my favorite musicians and writers are huge jerks in real life.

I should've explained. I think Hale's voice is raspy, and unattractive. All the FemSheps look about 10 years younger than she sounds, and when I play Paragon as her, she still sounds like a Renegade. There's no caring in her voice. Not to mention that awful monotone that I hear when I'm playing as her.

Then there's the Renegade. MaleShep is HILARIOUS as a Renegade. He's such an ****, and it cracks me up. FemShep isn't. She sounds like she's PMSing thoughout the entire game, and as I said before, it STILL sounds that way during Paragon playthroughs. MaleShep also has his Renegade moments where I just felt awful. Then Hale does them, and I seriously just cringe at the sound of her voice trying to be "evil".

All in all, I think she's terrible as FemShep. I hate playing as FemShep because of her, and I ALWAYS have a character of every sex. That's again, just my opinion, and I'm not saying you have to think it too, but Hale makes me cringe. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Chobot. That's no brainer.

Rafael Sbarge is the distant second. Didn't like his voice since the KOTOR.

BioWare is known for it's voice acting, but i think they dropped the ball on Diana allers, myself.

The only problem with people Pooping on Jess Chobot as a voice actress is that, well, Jess isn't a voice actress. She's a gaming media personality and part-time gaming journalist. Her being in the game was a tongue 'n cheek idea thought up by the doctors (so she stated in a pod-cast sit down last month) so I think it was always the intention that her role not be taken all that seriously. I don't know what people were expecting, but knowing that she isn't an actress warned me in advance to just look at it like, "Hey, Chobot's in the game. Well, that's cool. Oh, she's fliriting with Shep. Ha, the dialogue's so bad it's funny."

Even Chobot mentions in the pod-cast that the voice acting wasn't done all that seriously, she did the whole thing in a few hours (BioWare's call, not hers) and that her delivery was always intended to be a bit over the top, especially in the "Love Scene." So...long story short, you can't call her the worst voice actor because voice acting is a genuine occupation/art and she's not a part of that group. She's just a cameo voice at best, like Buzz Aldrin's horrible "Grandpa, tell me about The Sheaprd..." scene. Cool idea, not to be taken too seriously.

Honestly, worst voice actor? Seth Green. I love him, and I love Joker who's lines *are* funny, but voice acting is just not his strong suit. Why do you think they removed him as the voice for the character he mo-capped in "Mars Needs Moms"? He just doesn't do well, especially with dramatic dialogue. He can do over the top funny, but anything even remotely emotionally engaging? No.

Over the top? It was the complete opposite of over the top...<_<

I never let that idiotic bimbo on my ship.

I don't think she was there to be liked but simply to serve a purpose in the rallying for the war

Chobot. I mean, she sounds so very different from the rest of the cast. And was really too light-hearted in most of the delivery.

The kid. Kid actors suck, period. Exceptions from the rule happen so rarely, it's practically pointless to even think about planning a kid (voice) actor in your movie/game because 99% chance is you won't find anything good.

There's really only one line of Seth Green dialogue I can think of in the whole series that is delivered badly: it's that "you remember to zip up your jump suit?" line in the first game.  He just... starts shouting, for no reason.

The rest of it?  I'd say he did a fantastic job, because his character is pretty much there to crack jokes.  The one really dramatic scene involving him, the one where Shepard gets angry at him, was handled pretty delicately.

Chobot, no question. I want to say they put her in just because she was a pretty face, but then they effed up her face too so..... >_>

Regardless of the circumstances, and indeed, if what you say is true, BECAUSE of the circumstances, Chobot's delivery is still bad. You've got this great game, this fully-realized world, and Chobot comes bebopping in and breaks the fourth wall into little bitty bits. That's not ever what I wanted, and if that was her and BioWare's intent, well, bad call on everyone's part, methinks.

I think saying Chobot is pretty mainstream, but even without ever watching a show with her I must say you simply hear that she is no professional actress/voice-actor. It would not be bad in any other game but the rest of the cast is just too good.

Chobot, the very first line she says has horrible inflection and sounds completely wrong. Yuck.

Yup this. So far Jessica's voice acting sounds so...forced I guess. There's nothing natural about how she says her lines.

Definitely Chobot. It just sounded like she was reading the lines into a microphone. Which she was of course, but it's not supposed to be that obvious.

And that makes it bad??

He had one of the best perfomances in the game! Will Salayers deserves credit because its hard to top what Michael Beattie did with Mordin. If anything, the two of them are really underrated talent here, like Troy Baker.

What are you even talking about.... This doesn't make any sense... :?

I actually did not like Freddie Prinze Jr. Vega is supposed to be mexican or spanish or whatever, and he does not sound even remotely like either.

Oriana's VA. To the Gaming Industry and Hollywood, stop hiring non-Australians to do Australian accents, because they can't do it. Its one of my biggest gripes.

Diana Allers, easily.
I didn't even knew she was based on a real person before playing the game, but I wondered "WTH is a supposedly professionnal journalist that rake up audience in the galaxy sounds so boring and flat ?".
Then I discovered on the board from where the voice actor came, and was like "oh, ok, I get it...".

I hated how Mordin changed voice too, but it's not because the voice actor was bad, just because he was not the same (and not as good, but "not as good" doesn't mean "bad").

Worst: The old man in the after-credits scene

2nd worst: The boy

I thought that Allers voicing was actually alright, other than the lack of emotion. While not as good as the majority of the other voice actors I think she did ok for someone who has not done voice acting before.
