Definitely Chobot. It just sounded like she was reading the lines into a microphone. Which she was of course, but it's not supposed to be that obvious.

And that makes it bad??

He had one of the best perfomances in the game! Will Salayers deserves credit because its hard to top what Michael Beattie did with Mordin. If anything, the two of them are really underrated talent here, like Troy Baker.

What are you even talking about.... This doesn't make any sense... :?

He just misquoted, methinks.  For what it's worth, I think newMordin was pretty good, much better than imagined.  I feared Mordin would be pushed into a background role because of the original VO loss.

Also, agreed Troy Baker is a really great VO that should have been used more.

Chobot, she's like dried cardboard. But she's not really a voice actress so probably the Quarian Admiral

Which of the five?

Oriana's VA. To the Gaming Industry and Hollywood, stop hiring non-Australians to do Australian accents, because they can't do it. Its one of my biggest gripes.

Wasn't Oriana raised by a different family, though?  MIght make sense that she doesn't have the same accent.

I honestly don't even remember Oriana's voice though, can't remember if she was going for the Aussie accent.

If we get a DLC where Chobot's face destroys a Reaper, then I could say her inclusion into the game was worth it.

haha, I wish they wouldn't try to do faces based off real people, becuase every time they do it seems to end in disaster. Subtle taking after real people generally ends better, but I do think that they dropped the ball on allers face a bit.

I'm assuming you mean Shala'raan, as Xen is voiced by Morrigan's VO (and she's fantastic). I quite like Raan's voice acting personally, and I think she manages to capture Tali's (made up, I believe) accent quite well.

True... and Jokers is alright as well I guess (I think it was based off his VO but I'm not sure). Maybe it's just the female faces?

Possibly even the worst of the entire series.

I like Jessica Chobot IRL but Diana Allers' voice makes me want to slit my wrists.

They could have not offed Emily Wong and put her on the Normandy. They also could have used Khalisa.

Honestly, Allers is one of the only things in the game that grates on me.

I would have loved to have Emily Wong on the ship instead of Allers and finally be able to return that exclusive interview.

Exactly, They really did drop the ball on this. Emily Wong would've been great on board. Even Khalisa would've made more sense since they both at least have a history with Shepard.

I do feel a bit sorry for Chobot. I know a lot of people don't like her. Me, I don't care enough about her to have an opinion. But her voice acting wasn't good. It really was just a person reading lines. Bioware should've either coached her better or got somebody else

The hate for Chobot is pretty strong, but I think some of it is uncalled for. She didn't do a horrible job and she didn't do a great one. She's just there and is a very small contributor to the game so I let it go.

Buzz Aldrin and any person willing to strap themselves to a rocket to be launched out into space is Aces in my book.

But had he not gone to the moon I seriously doubt they would have casted him. Didn't help there was a child actor in the scene too, but really there was nothing good about his delivery.

"...my sweets"

Then there is Troy Baker. Baker is actually a great VA. He's voiced several of my favorite characters in a video game. But due to the incredibly one dimensional nature of Kai Leng's character and the few lines he even has, the quality was poorer than I would have expected.

Vega did a good job for the most part. But out of all the squadmates, he had the most forced lines. It did not sound natural when he tried to mix some of his Spanish words into his comments.

I get the feeling the Buzz Aldrin casting was deliberate.  Spoilers follow.

I got the impression that all races trapped in the Sol system colonized nearby world.  I think we're supposed to come away with the impression that humanity is basically starting over, back to the stage where everything in space was a mystery.  Buzz Aldrin, as one of the most well known astronauts, makes a bit of sense for a character to be talking about the wonders of space.

End spoilers.

This black guy in ME3 who has a husband. My least favourite character in the series (why he is even there?), and his voice was mediocre either.

Two of my favourites: Tali and Joker

The kid. Kid actors suck, period. Exceptions from the rule happen so rarely, it's practically pointless to even think about planning a kid (voice) actor in your movie/game because 99% chance is you won't find anything good.

Are you sure it was a kid and not a woman?

And she's also a competent actress. I've always liked her voice, in everything she's been in. (It's pretty authentic. That's the way she talks.)

Hate to jump on the bandwagon, but I found this somewhat offensive.

+1

On topic: I think the worst was probably Vega. Like a previous poster mentioned, his spanish pronunciation really seemed out of place.
