Dislikes:
-I don't like that things like medigels and credits don't pop up from far away. I love how in ME2 you can just turn all the around and see whats around you. Now I have to search every corner looking for stuff. I don't hate this but I'd rather it be the other way.
-the journal: mission don't update and there is no direction
Likes:
- the way you can equip weapons on the battlefield sometimes. It makes it so much easier.
- the choices you have when using squad points. You can take a different direction instead of it being chosen for you.
-the way you interact with characters
- cover: I love the new cover system
What are yours.

The journal. No updates. At one point I had to break out pen and paper just to stay on top of all the quest states.

Biggest dislikes for me would be the Journal and the lack of holstering your gun.

Only complaints are with the inventory system. You needed see some way of comparing your equipped weapon versus what you are about to buy ( you would have to save the game, rank up the weapon and mod it and then compare and then reload if it was worse ) . It would also be nice to have simple list of all your mods, quest items, and armor pieces and tag those that were new. It was always a pain to find the new piece of armor that you found in the last mission but did not remember what the piece was.

yes and yes. I get lost often without the detailed journal.
Also, while I like the cover system sometimes when I try to run away from enemies I get magnetized to a wall instead of trying to move away. I hate that.

The journal is the only thing that bugs me since it makes quests so much more confusing without updates. The other dislike i can't talk about since it's a spoiler (No not the endings)
The things i liked the storytelling is way better than ME2 on par with ME1 again and the selection of weapons and mods is cool. Combat is even better than ME2's improvements and it's now exciting with melee options and a variety of enemies that make you change tactics during the fight.
I also enjoy the fact characters seem real and not like pokemon waiting in their room until you let them out/. They move around the ship doing activities and interacting with each other and even when they are in their usual space they are not always doing the exact same thing.
There';s also a great deal more crew dialogue thanks to some auto stuff they don't just repeat the same line all the time when you finished all your interactions for that section.
The reputation system is better than how it was managed in previous games meaning you get access to more special dialogues without having to totally conform with one set of decisions like in ME2 or spend points like in ME1.
I like the new things on the Normandy and i like the Citadel in this game bringing the presidium back as a location was much better and it feels ,more spacious than the closed in Citadel of ME2.
The music and presentation is the best ever with a mix of new music and classic themes from the last 2 games and also the sound effects are fantastic and really make you feel immersed in the moment.
