Going after Loghain is a personal vendetta of the Wardens or it is the freeing of the Ferelden peopel from an oppressive leader. It is not stopping the Blight. Therefore Morrigan disapproves.

Actually Morrigan says that we should go immediately after Loghain and then gather the army. And apparently that was an option in the early build of the game.

Which would have been awesome since we could have had Loghain early on.

True, but I never took that as going after him to overthrow him but going after loghain to kill him. Which definitely fits for the character.

I'm down with Morry's plan. Go for the serpents head!

P.s. I love me some thread necromancy, it's the smell of rotten opinions in the morning.

Another loose end the developers let in, that seems utterly pointless, really. It does seem like a stupid suggestion, until you learn that it was supposed to be doable at one time, along with the whole Cailan/celene scenario. Oh well.

It was?

Though I can see why they'd take it out. Going directly after Loghain and not getting curbstomped would've been off.

It was part of a quest line where Cailan was going to divorce Anora and marry Empress Celene of Orlais, which would have meant a lot of upheaval and you could easily end up siding with Loghain.

Also, I Posted Image Morrigan.  I think her writing is great.  Only played one male PC, but she's my BFF on my other playthroughs.  [/girlcrush]

Ah that makes more sense.

Her writing is great because to me she's so self-contradictory. That's part of what makes my character dislike her though (that and the fact that they can't point out the fact that "Hey you claim to be manipulative but don't have a basic grasp on doing things for other people gets them to do thing for you?")

In short she's so well written I want to strangle her.

That's Alistair's rebuttal when Morrigan suggests the plan (you have to ask for their opinions in dialogue), I think her dialogue is awesome throughout, it's very British in its structure and her accent is <3.

Agreed. I get teary eyed everytime she calls your PC a sister/friend.

My canon mage was actually more shocked and devestated by Morrigan abandoning her than Alistair dumping her.

I think Morrigan is a b*tch. A magnificent b*tch. I only wish that a female Warden could follow her through the mirror.

Female/female non-romantic, nonsexual relationships and bonds can be extremely powerful, transcendant things. Even more so than romantic ones. Morrigan, I think, is one of the very few female companions in an RPG that can inspire such a relationship.

This, exactly.
