I liked him better then I thought I would. However I still would have preferred one of the strong new characters introduced in ME2, namely Samara but Miranda would have been fine as well.
James Vega (What do you think now, since you got a run through or two?0

He's fun to talk to, but I never really bring him along on missions. It's funny, if I hadn't seen interviews with the cast before hand I would have never thought that Freddy Prince Jr. voiced him.

James is probably the best human character followed by Kaidan

When he was announced, I thought its just another bland allince type like Jacob. But I actually liked him. He has some funny and interesting lines through the game

I was't liking his face. But he grew on me and by the mid-game I wanted to sleep with him. It was his voice....

I didn't exactly hate Vega, but I thought he was a a little stereotypical. He grew on me as the game progressed, but it ultimately felt like a missed opportunity. We had 2 games to grow onto the characters such as Garrus and Tali. Vega was obviously not given the same attention to compensate for it.

I like Vega, but I was once a soldier myself...
1st Cav baby!
Also him and Garrus cracked me up several times! I could see them becoming great friends.
And I usually take them both on missions together... the dialog is beyond hilarious at points and great at others.
I think BioWare did a great job with the Vega character, but I wish I had more time to get to know him...

He's definitely a lot better than I had anticipated. I am a little surprised he wasn't a romance option seeing how I noticed femshep has a lack of options (or rather good ones) compared to male shepard.

He was a walking stereotype that Bioware did a good job of fleshing out. Good in combat too.

I thought I wouldn't like him but he's actually pretty cool. It annoyed me at first when he looked like he didn't really respect Shep that much but after talking to him you get where he's coming from. The new crew is not bad. I like Cortez he's really chill to talk to. Didn't care for Allers. At all. And the other girl, forget her name, she was ok. Kind of boring~

he sadly reminds me of an annoying coworker that has the exact same physique straight down to his square jaws and gives people weird nicknames - so no... i dont like him.
everytime i see him, i want to flip a table and leave the room. i wish there were tables in ME3 to flip.

He rocks, as you can see from my profile picture he's one of my favorite characters. I used to like Tali but not so much anymore (well, apart from the straw moment, that was pure gold).

he is okay. better than Kaidan and Jacob imho. fun to listen to in conversations. Kinda cheesy at times when talking to him when playing as femshep. gotta shut him down a few times. NO MEANS NO!

First I was worried we'd get another Kaidan or Jacob, he'd bore us to death, but I was wrong and I'm glad. James is a great character and fun to talk to.

As soon as I saw him.. I was like "man, is this biowares way of balancing out miranda for women"
I get the feeling his reason for existing is eye candy for girls, since all the guys have Miranda to stare at

A great character, although I'm not exactly sure what his exact role was in the overall story.
Liked him nontheless.
