or having you play as another character while shep commands. Its just too drastic and jarring. Its Shep or nothing

Oh they should. If Mass Effect 4 has any chance of success.  I would suggest they bring on a real Legend in the gaming industry, Chris Roberts.  Bioware makes crappola flight simulators.  Just look at SW TOR space combat only, that is the biggest utter crappola ever created.  Bioware needs someone with Chris Robert's skill to make a perfect space simulator.

The best way to beat the Reapers according to Admiral Hackett.  "Hit and Run".  You play a pilot and fly a ship.  I am starting to hate Bioware and their ground combat with crappola called space simulators.  They need the genius of Chris Roberts.

If Mass Affect 4 does happen.  I hope Shepherd is in it as a Reaper or giving us orders.  Since I would like to see something better than Freelancer and get Chris Roberts on the Bioware Team.  Bioware makes crappy space combat simulations.  Sorry Bioware, but your space simulators are crappola.  Hire Chris Roberts and get your space simulators made better and bring a massive rejoice to the Bioware Community.

Bioware is making a new Command and Conquer: Generals (by far the best C&C game)

oh and not Bioware anymore but OMG OMG just found out today.
There is gonna be a Baldur's Gate 3!!!!!! or something BG related

My only favorite C&C is Red Alert 3.  I got it because my  3 favorite actors were in it.  Tim Curry, George Takei, and "This is how we fix things on Russian Space Station."  *Takes Hammer and smashes the space shuttle circuit breakers*

I'm still unable to figure out what exactly Shepherd took a breath of on a destroyed Citadel in the vacuum of space...I'm quite certain he dies in every ending, especially that one...

Look at the ground.  Concrete.  No citadel space debris at all.  And, the camera pans up a hill.  Same spot which Harbinger hit Shepherd.

But the scene suggests that Shepard might have been indocrinated. But if that's true... Reapers win either way. And that's grim.

this is what im concerned about with this indoctro theory. if sheps indoctro then who cares if hes alive or dead. hes a reaper pawn now, so hes better off dead.  maybe ME4 contains a lazerous project that removes indoctro instead of recreating a human being from goo.

......oh ****, reaper goo!!!

why dont we lazerous project a reapers goo?????????

Hehe... Yeah, that's why it sucks. IT'S LIKE WATCHING TOTAL RECALL AGAIN!

you CAN fight indoctrination. (making saren shoot himself?) It takes an incredibly strong mind and will. do we know anybody like that?

maybe he snaps out of it in the dlc
maybe he has to struggle against his own mind the whole way to the final button. barely able to keep control

Yes, its full of plot-holes.

Wouldnt be the first.

I'm sorry, but no one could survive something like that. Not even Shepard.

I am having trouble with the fact that you have nothing better to do than to troll this thread. There's nothing wrong with spending time on something you enjoy. Obvioulsy there are a lot of people who don't understand the ending. The op made an effort to help others. I think that's commendable.

Well, with all the rumors about the multiplayer doc with new characters only leads me to think that there's something huge happening soon...like a massive multiplayer world event where we all get to join in the war as our mp characters and take orders from Shepard to finish the war against the reapers and only after do we really know what happens at the end.
Rubble scene shows that there's a second part to this and its a perfect ending if there's a 2nd part, which I know there will be. The details are there, you just have to pay attention because the small details make a big difference. They are meant to be there. Plus, an omni gel heals everything!:P I honestly don't think Shepard got directly hit, but got knocked out by its proximity to the beam. Just my thought though.

I know people which survived in the blast zone of Heroshima and Nagasaki.  I know people who survived missle strikes.  I know people who survived bouncing betty's.  There are even people which survive plane crashes.  If Real Life has people which can survive through things which are supposed to kill them.....  How do you know what can kill or not kill Shepherd????

Go to a local VA Hospital.  There are lots of us Vets which survived various wars in our time.

@Director - True, but we're talking about Shepard surviving at the very least a fall from orbit and re-entry, not to mention the impact on Earth. It's impossible.

That's why Indoc. holds that he was never on the Citadel.

I hope you have a right not just for own peace but also for sake of BioWare and i hope right now BioWare guys siting somewhere on sofa and LoL so much from all these nerd-rage comments, also LoL bcz they right now testing some new DLC which will fix the ending.

While updates to multiplayer will be nice, a "global event to finish Mass Effect 3" would probably do nothing but succeed in in pissing everyone off even further.  Not to mention, it would actually be impossible because the nature of the game, meaning, there is too much diversity in one person's story to anothers, to have it all colaberate under one final ending.

yeah, it would be difficult but it was just a thought. I think the multiplayer will play a bigger role in sp especially with you being able to promote your mp characters to the front lines in sp. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us Image IPB

You mean "BioWare" is making the new C&C.  It's the same studio/team that made it before.  EA just put them under the BioWare moniker.

As for BG3, we don't know which house will be responsible for development.

On topic:  Thanks for pulling the structure images, Tiax.

This makes me think back to Mass Effect 1 when Liara is astonished that Shepard managed to survive the Prothean beacon. She says something to the effect of you must have a remarkable mind or you are very strong willed. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Also, I adore this theory and if it's true it would be absolutely brilliant. If it's not ... well, congratulations. You wrote an amazing ending.
