i have to stop playing the game because this is the first time my PS3 is feeze when loading the game. Will wait for the new patch then continue.

You can try going to the Purgatory Bar then to the Holding Area.

Got it, but the sub mission to activate the terminal on Holding Area is not working anymore, i comfirm only get blank/freeze screen when ever i try to go to Holding Area beside from Purgatory Bar, other then Citideal, i dont encounter problem for freeze screen yet.

thanks!:)

I hope that with next patch I get my acomplishment back which were lost due to corrupted setting file after the game crashed in multiplayer, so I dont have to complete the game again. This is quite frustrating

I confirm that some missions must be done before leaving the Citadel or else they get bugged. In your second playthrough, keep that in mind.

You're welcome!

Got tired of waiting for a patch to fix the broken quests on the Citidel and started over. Going to keep a Normandy save so that, in case of Hanar Diplomat getting broken again, I can revert to a previous save.

BioWare really needs to get on the ball fixing this game. I hope it doesn't end up like the debacle with KOA: Reckoning. Two months on, the game is still broken.

Used the "press the PS button" work around to get to the holding area and FINALLY managed to complete the Hanar Diplomat mission. From now on, I'll just finish Citadel quests as soon as I get them.

Okay I apparently didn't have as many bugs as the rest here LOL But I will say the frame rate and audio cutoffs are my main concern....It would be nice if you guys could fix these and maybe in ME2 as well.....I know you cant do to much with the slow load times that that is the Playstaion and but the audio and frame rate Is something I hope you do something about.

are you guys even working on a patch? at all? seriously, it's been a month and all we've heard was the vague "we are looking into these issues" responses. I pay $60.00 for a game so i can play it, not to have it sit on my shelf for 4 weeks and counting.

The framerate is almost certainly because there's no HDD install. Remember that ME3 is running on the same engine ME2 for PS3 used, right? I went back and did a quick run through ME2 so I could play the Shep I wanted. I've got the digital version, but I used to have the disc version as well.

It's staggering how much smoother the framerate in ME2 is. The only real conclusion is that it's because it has to stream every single bit of data from the disc, and the PS3's blu-ray player isn't that fast.

No. People who have the digital version experience framerate problems as well.

Agreed. We didn't pay for a Beta version of the game. (Or maybe we did...?)Image IPB

I remember a time when games came out without the need for a patch, the game was complete and didn't need 10 dollar packets of DLC to make it a well rounded game. Times certainly have changed. The graphics are nicer to look at, but things don't work nearly as well. There are times I think maybe I'd rather play a game that has ps2 graphics and works, then a game with ps3 graphics that requires hard resets and I'm constantly worrying if playing a game will kill my system. This game isn't even half as bad as some of the other games I have in mind though.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are the ones I really have on my mind about that. I blame them for killing 2 of my Ps3's. It just sucks how faulty games are being released now. I guess the customer is always wrong now (instead of right). Anywho...given the change from last gen to this current debacle I wonder seriously if I would even consider going to the next gen when it finally roles out. Maybe it's time to find a new hobby. :-/

If I do stick with gaming in the next gen, I'm going for PC.
Second worst mistake I did as a gamer: Buying a PS3.

No, it's not just the developer but the prices of games too.
On launch here in Brazil, PC version of the same game costs R$99,00 reais, and  PS3/Xbox costs R$170,00 reais.

Don't ask what I was thinking when I bought the PS3 because I don't know anymore.

I am thinking you need to be worried about the inflation of your money if a game costs that much in PC or ps3.

Buy the way PC gaming ends up being real expensive cause you constantly have to up grade your computer to play the newest game.

Yeah, seriously.  The PS3 is 5 years old.  Find me a 5 year old computer that hasn't been upgraded at all that can play any game released in the past 3 years.

I grew up as a PC gamer primarily, but it's a ridiculously expensive gaming platform.

i'm having a number of Achievement display errors - i have received the achievement, but the trophies are not appearing on the screen when i go look at them.  is anyone else having the same issue?

i also don't seem to be having the framerate issue or the Citadel blackscreen freeze issue as often as other people.  it has happened, although very infrequently and with no regularity - some weekend nights, i can go all night without a freeze, one weekend i had two freezes.  doesn't matter which level i am headed to, what point i am during the game or whether it's in the middle of an autosave or not.

overall, i'd have to say ME3 is behaving a lot better than ME2 did for me.

Nice.  A patch that addresses exactly one major PS3 problem, no mention of the freezing issues in multiplayer at all

Those are 2 seperate problems. The pricing difference has to do with Brazils economy not the developer. The issue with ME3 on PS3 is ALL on Bioware and NOT the PS3. As I've said in other threads, so many other develpoers can release multiplatform games and have them run smooth on ALL platforms (Ubisoft and Rockstar to name a few.) Again. This is NOT a problem with the PS3...it's Biowares faulty programing.

far too little too late that patch is useless if it does not fix the frame rate issue as it is i have got rid of the game in a month its lost value of almost 25% which i think is pretty shocking !
