ok, but that's not required for PC, Microsoft just certify drivers on Windows not patches, so why not just release it on pc first?

Because Dice didn't either and that was for a game that was claimed to be developed for PC (total crock but that's another story), it's becoming a trend to delay patches in order to release them all simultaneous.

Yes, Battlefied 3 patches were delayed by Ea untill Sony approved them, despite not having any reason to, legally only new content had to be released first and even then It was supposed to be a PC game yet Sony gets preferential treatment. EA don't care about pcs never have and therfore none of their studios do either

I've looked over past patch announcements for previous Bioware titles and the pattern appears to be
PC patch released before Console.
Of coarse that doesn't mean that will be the case here, but I don't see any reason why it won't.
Just in-case I'd like to add my voice to the collective chorus for a sooner rather than later patch for the PC.

sorry for noob question but does the patch on PC download itself and get installed or do we have to find it through origin?
It should auto download through Origin. Or found here
http://social.biowar...age/me3-patches if not.

I would like to know when I might be able to continue my first play through. The multi-player can only keep me interested for a limited time and I would like to know if I should put ME 3 Pre-Order Deluxe on the shelf with ME 1 & 2.

...I can see on the patch page that 1.01 is out, but I see no download link, nor can I find anything within Origin to let me download the patch. ...
That patch should auto-download.
Run the Mass Effect 3 Configuration utility (or MassEffect3Config, it should be in Origin Games/Mass Effect 3/Binaries). Under the Game tab you should see the version number. If it's not v1.01 ...then you have a problem.
Launch Origin. Right Click on Mass Effect 3 in My Games. In the context menu click "Check for Update".
That should do the trick...hopefully.

Last time I reported an issue (the infamous shadow broker bug, the one about recruiting Samara after LotSB), it was widely ignored by the EA and BSN team. Even private messaging the staff accomplished nothing. Do you think you can actually do something about this new bug I report, or will we be forgotten again?

I just want to know when the patch comes out exactly. Today, but how late? It's already 1 PM here, 5 AM on the Eastern Seaboard, but nothing yet. I just want to see if the face of my Shepard now imports correctly.
Yeah, i´m waiting too. It´s 1:35 PM German Time here on the 09th April. Just tried to import a ME2 Char (That was imported from ME1 to ME2. Also finished all Game / DLC in ME2 and, of course, Shep is alive) but still ME3 can´t import my Shep face........*sigh*.
Do i really must wait ´till evening here untill they (BW) are up´n awake in Canada?
Again.....*sigh*
